Perfectly located hotel, with comfortable beds, quiet sleep and hot shower. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. Breakfast was exceptional value and would recommend staying here for convenience cost comfort and care from staff. Lenny Henry is right!

Emma S and Emma H welcomed us well , catered for all our needs . Our radiator wasn’t working and Emma S went out of her way to ensure we got heating. She arranged for an oil heater to be brought to our room. Will definitely come back .

Stay here every week for work and I am always pleased. It’s hard to be away from home however the team here are always so welcoming, I could never stay anywhere else! The food next door can be hit and miss but the Premier Inn does what it says on the tin - keep up the good work guys and gals!

Good value for money basic stay for stopover. Bar area could do with some improvements with cleanliness especially not enough vegetarian options. In room there wasn’t enough space round the toilet . Comfortable stay

Stayed at the Premier Inn Derby South for a couple of days on a business trip - always great service and comfort at Premier Inn but have to say special thanks to staff members Emma P and Emma S on reception and housekeeping for making the check-in easy, the stay relaxed and comfortable ,and generally going above and beyond. The hotel was up to the usual standard I expect from Premier Inn, but service at the TableTable next door was slow. They were clearly understaffed, and poor old Phil was running himself ragged. The food was good when it eventually arrived, but drink choice was poor. No ale!

Although we’ve stayed at several Premier Inns, this was our first stay at Derby South and we were suitably impressed. The Hotel was conveniently located for the social event we were attending which was a deciding factor when booking. The room was of a good size (standard double) and was spotlessly clean and well appointed. There was also ample secure free parking. We parked at the rear so we could see our park from the bedroom window (room 112) The adjoining Table Table Restaurant was an added bonus . We opted for the meal deal, and on the Saturday we enjoyed one of the best steaks we’ve had in a good while – cooked to perfection! Breakfast was cooked to order and was equally impressive. Top marks to the chef and restaurant team.
