Went above and beyond!! My daughter was having major surgery opposite. They went out of their way to enable us to have an early check in the day of her surgery so we could wait in comfort. Debbie was brilliant and all the other staff and they made a truly anxious time better for us. A huge thank you! We really appreciated your kindness xxx

Lovely place worth your money, rooms are clean and spacious. Staff friendly, had issues as heating wasn’t working and coming from a journey I was cold, I called reception and all got sorted, I enjoyed my stay very comfortable

I stayed in December whilst on a business trip. Staff were great. Able to assist me with any questions I had about the area, what to do, where to go etc. Rooms were comfy and clean. Will be staying on my next business trip.

The staff at this Premier in are absolutely lovely. They will do whatever they can to help you out and are always friendly. The bed is fine. The food at the attached restaurant is fine. The noise depends entirely on where your room is, but it’s often pretty noisy. The rooms have gone really downhill in the last couple of years. I had to put 2 keycards in to make the lights work, because they wouldn’t stay on with one. The bathroom was damp. It smelled, and the outside corner of the bath looked like it was about to fall apart. The extractor fan didn’t seem to do anything, but also never turned off, just had a constant high-pitched whining. Needs some SERIOUS tlc. Stick with travelodge, cheaper, but at this point equal quality.

I have stayed in a number of Premier Inns as they are usually excellent. However, this one feels tired now, the bed was the worst Premier Inn bed I have slept on, the bath fan was very noisy, loo paper very low, tv speakers not sounding right, only 1 set of towels, tea and coffee supplies looked low and no teaspoons. As usual, breakfast was great!

I stayed in this hotel with my partner and two children for five nights. The hotel was amazing value. The room was spacious enough for us all. Very comfy beds. The front desk staff couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. The only issue we had was with the cleaning staff. They seem to decide themselves if they can be bothered cleaning your room. We went the first few days without requesting a clean. But by day 3 we were needing at least a vacuum and bins emptied (we have a baby in nappies). I requested that the room be cleaned on my way out the door the 3rd morning. My partner did too, not knowing I had asked. When we returned that evening the room had not been cleaned, the wet towels were still in the bath. I informed the lady at the front desk and she was horrified and offered to come clean herself straight away. I declined as I felt bad as it wasn’t her job, and it would leave the front desk unattended. I asked if we could just have fresh towels which she provided. The 4th morning I asked if we could have the room cleaned, as it had been forgotten the day before. They said yes. When we returned that night, the room had not been cleaned. There were fresh towels but nothing else had been touched. A different woman at the front desk was also horrified and flustered and offered to come tidy. Again I did not want to remove her from front desk duties so I just asked if she could take the wet towels away (again they had not been touched) and empty the bins. Apart from the cleaning I would not have hesitated to stay here again, it’s a great location and excellent value for money. I wouldn’t stay here again as I don’t think the cleaning situation was good enough, it really tarnished an otherwise positive experience.…

I had a supposedly accessible room. It was extremely poorly designed. I could not have a shower in the 3 days I stayed there because there was no hoist or grab rails appropriately positioned. I could not get out of the too low, too soft bed either
