Looks like another roadside hotel, but on entering our room we were very pleasantly surprised. Spotlessly clean, beautiful white and soft bedding and oh so comfortable bed and pillows. Hairdryer with diffuser was an added bonus and very much appreciated by me. Plenty of towels...More

Description

The Kings Highway pub and hotel is situated just off the A38 (next to the Kingsway retail park) and only a mile from Derby City Centre. Our rooms offer comfortable accommodation for business or pleasure alike. All our room rates include a delicious breakfast. We have an extensive range of great pub food to choose from, including our delicious carvery, so you can join us for lunch and dinner too! Kids will love the pub's outdoor children's play area or indoor toy corner and once they have worked up an appetite why not treat them to something from our children's menu? Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a desk. They all have an en suite bathroom with bathtub or shower, and hairdryer. Every morning, guests will enjoy a continental breakfast with a range of pastries, fruit, cereals and yoghurt or a cooked breakfast. Traditional pub food is served at the property's pub along with a selection of ales. Free parking is available on site. Kings Highway is 4.7 miles away from Kedleston Hall National Trust and Pride Park Stadium is 3.9 miles away. Derby Railway Station is 3.1 miles away, while the East Midlands Airport is located 20 miles away.
