Booked this as a anniversary dinner which was very intimate in lovely surroundings albeit a tad too quiet! Food was excellent and was made to feel very welcome by the owner. Can highly recommend this as a lovely place to eat and will definitely be back.

Some friends invited us to join them for Sunday lunch. When we arrived the car park seemed empty and when we entered the dining room we realised that it was just us! I estimated there was seating capacity for about 40. There was one lady (the owner) on duty plus a large, friendly dog (Freddy). The menu was interesting and...

A great place for a birthday bash. A unique building set in the countryside near Royal Wootton Bassett. The food, hot and cold buffet, was delicious and plenty of it. Oh yes, move the tables and you have a dance floor. Don't knock it, try it.

WOW what a find, this hotel was built in 1850 and still has all its character. The service and meals were outstanding. Rooms are a little old but comfortable. If you are...

Our stay here was pleasant, but could have been so much better. The garden outside needed some summer colour in its tubs outside and some weeding and general sprucing up, for it is a very attractive space round a lovely building. I was very worried by the evidence of damp in the landing ceiling and the dining room roof. The...

Between Christmas and New Year we had a family gathering here after having a walk just down the road in Lydiard Park. The booking was for 2pm. There were 10 of us (8 adults & 2 children). We were the only people eating which was fine because we were quite a large group and it allowed us to be more...

Stayed here on business and the scenery is outstanding. Very remote but this place has it all. Friendly owners and the food is out of this world no messing about here just really fine food. NOTHING is too much trouble and all for £45 per person.
