We booked 2 nights bed and breakfast. On arrival we were shown to our room which was right up in the attic to the front of the building. We were told that if we arrived back after the pub closed that we had to get back into the building using the fire escape. We found this very odd The room...

Popped on at the weekend for lunch with friends and the wife. Very good food, really helpful staff and lots of beers to choose from. It's an order at the bar place, but then it is a pub so expected I suppose. The chap who served us at the bar was friendly and let me taste a couple of ales...

Nice place to have drinks, can't comment on the food but my colleagues said the food was good. Great drinks selection and good atmosphere in the general bar area. Bonus that the toilets are kept nice and clean!

Was there on a Tuesday night with a few work colleagues Nice place , lots of seating spread out around the ground floor which is a nice change. from everyone seated in one area. Normal pub fare was available. A couple of us had a lamb shank which was very good, esp the sauce. Would recommend that for a warm...

I went here with my dad for a spot of lunch on Monday. A very lovely lunch it was too. The main courses were just £5 each (starter and dessert £3 each) from the lunch menu. The portions were a great size for the price...very good value :) I was part way through my drink when I realised there was...

I stayed at this pub hotel during a work visit to Swindon. The room (room 5) was perfectly clean, bathroom was clean, towels and sheets clean, some noise from the busy road, excellent bar and restaurant - so much so that I didn't actually venture any further during my stay. The staff and management were extremely helpful. I drove so...

I stayed at this hotel on Saturday as my son's birthday meal was around the corner. The room was big and modernised and a massive bath tub! The location is fantastic if you want to walk around Old Town. The breakfast was choose from the menu and was lovely. I grew up in Swindon and used to visit this place when...

It would appear the hotel has been refurbished recently. It was evident in the rooms with fluffy new carpets and freshly painted walls. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in as I was expecting a more mediocre room for the price. Bed fine, room fairly small but fine, bathroom is a little old fashioned but at least clean and...

Love this pub, love their food and drinks choices. It's always welcoming and we always feel looked after although if I had any feedback to give it would be to perhaps have more staff working. The carpark gets full quickly but we tend be walk round when with our family. Be prepared for a very busy bar if you visit...

Popped in with friends for an evening beer or two after work. Plenty of choice, decent prices. Only had one meal between us all as most had eaten but that looked tasty. Would come again at the weekend next time we're around in Old Town
