Spent a night at The Pear Tree on Saturday night and both my wife and I fell in love with the place. Beautiful settings firstly - nice and peaceful for breaking away from everyday life. Then the staff - they were all very helpful and friendly, welcoming us quickly and showing us to our room very swiftly so we could...

We stayed for one night with our puppy, who was made as welcome as the humans. The room was comfortable, if a little dated. The hotel has beautiful grounds with surrounding countryside for walks - perfect for a dog stay. My only slight complaint was that the bed/pillows weren't all that comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff were...

We had a two night stay at the Pear Tree Hotel and found it to be very relaxing, the staff were lovely, our room over looked the beautiful garden. The food was great. We will definitely return. Thank you for a super stay. Barbara And Bryan Frost. Croydon.

We have just stayed here for 2 nights and we celebrated our parents Diamond Wedding here with Aftenoon Tea for our friends and family. The hotel staff and owner Anne, couldn't have made it any better. The afternoon tea was lovely and the food was really nice. The staff here are so nice they have made our parents feel extra...

We had a good 2 night stay. Very friendly staff. Lovely clean room and spotless ensuite. Welcome treats for the dog. Food excellent especially the breakfasts. Minor niggle - would have preferred duvet to sheets and blankets. Would not hesitate to return one day. Thanks for everything.

We were here recently for a wedding, a very nice service followed by a lovely dinner in the conservatory... The food was good, not as good as I have had elsewhere and I think with the reputation this place has it could, and should have been a bit better, The room was very nice, spacious and clean but the damp/mould...

We've had a lovely weekend visit to the Pear Tree with excellent food and helpful, friendly staff. The restaurant is really nice and we were spoilt for choice when it came to breakfast. Lots of things to do in the area - shopping outlet and a great steam museum next door to the outlet. It's not far to the village of...

We celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary by having lunch with our immediate family followed by bed and breakfast. When the staff realised that it was our anniversary they gave us a free upgrade to a very pleasant and comfortable room. This was most welcome and got us off to a splendid start. The lunch was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented...

Enjoyed a family dinner party in the comfort of this lovely country hotel. Pre dinner drinks served in a comfortable lounge in a relaxing atmosphere before going through to the conservatory to eat. Service is very good, food was well prepared and delivered on taste and presentation. After dinner coffee and drinks back in the lounge rounded off a very...
