Visited for two nights in April. Very warm welcome and comfortable room. Excellent dining experience and superb service through all departments. Peaceful location, ideally situated for exploring the attractions of the Severn Gorge, as well as east access to the Telford shopping centre. Very highly recommended.

Paid nearly £15 for afternoon tea, expecting homemade produce, but was dissappointed to be served Mr Kiplings French Fancy's and scones bought at the local supermarket. Even the strawberries and cream with merangue were tinned strawberries. Although the food served was very nice, the whole tea was ruined by the fact that it was not home made. And ruined a...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review of our afternoon tea. I am sorry to learn than you were not pleased with our offer. Afternoon tea is certainly very popular at the moment and we ensure that our prices are competitive. For £12.95 (admittedly this is nearly £15.00, however it is also just over £10.00!) we serve smoked salmon sandwiches',...

Problem with the kitchen one lunchtime during our stay. Contacted the manager who handled our complaint well. The hotel is in an amazing setting. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake is very relaxing.

Back from a 2 day stay at this lovely hotel. The room had a couple of little bits which could do with replacing. The shower rail, loo roll holder and shower fitting could do with replacing and new pillows wouldn't go amiss. That's it. The location was brilliant for a peaceful break with lots of walking nearby with different levels...
