Had a brilliant last minute get away for the night, staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and specious with everything you would need for a night away, food was excellent in the restaurant, huge menu with lots to pick from, with very big portions, fab value for money!

Called in as staying locally. Excellent menu with choices of Chinese, Mexican and English cuisine. Took a while to come but was well worth the wait. Food was freshly prepared, hot and really tasty. Portions were generous, but well proportioned. Not just loads of chips or veg. Would recommend for anyone, but book if you want to eat early.

First visit to pub. The meals are very large and extremely well cooked. Staff are professional and friendly. Best meal we have had in years. Do book though! We ordered gammon and chicks breast in mushroom sauce. We can highly recommend.

This pub is situated alongside the river Severn although you can't see it as it's behind trees. The decor is good, the staff are friendly and helpful and there are some good real ales to enjoy. The best part though is definitely the food. You will need a good appetite as none of us could manage a dessert. If you...

We went here for a family birthday and wish we hadn't. Waited over an hour to be served and it was full or busy. Staff appeared not be interested and no apology given. Went to the Woodbridge the day after which was far better. Suggest you do the same.

Stayed overnight in February. Really good choice and nicely situated for all the local attractions. We were given a really warm welcome and the room was cosy and very comfortable. We enjoyed dinner and a lovely breakfast in the sunny conservatory the following morning. Great little inn - we would definitely stay there again. Many thanks!

We are fairly local to the Shakespeare, and have visited it several times over the years. We had booked for an early Sunday evening, we were greeted and seated with a smile, supping a lovely pint. We ordered and didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive, a mixed grill, the huge fish and chips and a steak...

Recently stayed here on business. The hotel is situated in fantastic location. 10 minute drive from the exhibition centre but could be a million miles away. Beautiful scenery in a tranquil location. The staff could not be more friendly, from the minute you arrive to check out everything is done with a smile. The rooms are clean and a decent...

I haven't visited here for several years so decided to book for my boyfriend's birthday as he has never been before. I ordered the pan friend chicken with plum and cranberry sauce, chips and salad. The portion was huge! The salad alone could have made a meal. The chips were served in a separate bowl as there was no room...
