Hotel's Favourite
There were plenty of staff to help us, from the bar, restaurant reception and waiting staff, including Sofia who served us. The food was good, we enjoyed our meal. Sofia was outstanding and so so friendly. Sofia helped us understand the menu and assisted us in making good choices. Sofia was fantastic in getting our drinks promptly and we had great fun with her. She gave us a great start to our holiday. Thank you Sofia 😘

The staff go above and beyond to make your stay special one of my favourite staff members was Sophia very welcoming and friendly i has be stayed here many times and I will always go back here based on it being the best out of all the hotels in Crawley it a great location for exploring and also being close by airport the food is good and a fair price especially the breakfast of travelling with children they eat free there is plenty of choice and all cooked fresh.
The bed are so comfy make it easy to doze off.
I stayed here twice during the half term first time for 3nights as a last minute mini break with kids and 2nd time one night a few days later for my nephew birthday
If you want a budget hotel that is spotlessly clean comfortable bed great food and atmosphere with very impressive low prices then this is the hotel for you
Will be returning again in a months time

We arrived very early morning and the receptionist welcomed us with friendly smile and with efficiency.
The rooms have comfortable beds; we had a room on 3rd and also 6th floor. Lift access. There is tea and coffee, TV, free wifi - room cleaning is via reception, you can inform if you wish your room to be cleaned. At reception they have water and glasses; water has fruit in it for a healthy refreshing drink. Local Metro bus stop out of hotel, local retail park with costa coffee, M&S Food hall, Boots etc.on foot is a short walk away. Parking at the hotel.
Breakfast is available and a full buffet breakfast for 10.50 GBP and as much as you can eat and drink.
The highlight was dinner ( book a table ) - the management and waiting team are exceptional and have an ability to interact with all types of customer. They make you feel welcome, unique and nothing is too much trouble. A special mention has to go to SOFIA who is definitely an ambassador of this hotel. She was inspiring and a natural ability to deliver the very best in customer service. I work in tourism overseas and she would be the ideal example to demonstrate to even 5 star establishments how to treat guests, a huge thank you. We already communicated to the restaurant management team how excellent everything has been and what an excellent experience we had. Highly recommended to stay here and easily commutable to Gatwick Airport Terminals.

We usually more than often book to stay at the premier inn when we have a early flight from Gatwick, we never really sleep that much due to our early flights but always manage to get a few hours in. The beds are very comfortable and with washing facilities and a bath, you can alway gurantee you are always ready for your next stage of your journey in the morning, Look for the deals because what might cost you £50 in january might cost you over £100 in the September as we have found out on more occasions than one and went elsewhere which was cheaper. The rooms are also very nice as is the location so make sure you book in advance to get the best offers

Me and my partner stayed on a Friday night paid £29 which is a bargain. Cheaper than the Last camping trip I went on! The receptionist offered us free parking aswell which was a nice gesture, however I doubt that will happen to most people. The hotel was empty and we didn’t have breakfast however the room was very modern, clean and spacious. The bathroom was very nice and had no grime on the taps, showers or sinks. We had the standard tv, tea/coffee and a kettle, however we could’ve done with an iron but it wasn’t a big deal. I’m sure if I was desperate enough they would’ve provided one at reception because the few staff we saw were very friendly. The view wasn’t great but I didn’t expect much from a built up industrial area near Gatwick airport. For the price and proximity to the airport you can’t really go wrong.

I often stay in premier inns all over the country as you know what you are getting. This one isn’t as modern as some of the other Premier Inns I have stayed at and is more basic in terms of the furniture (desk and wardrobe). However the room was clean and the bed very comfy as expected! Bathroom clean and functional with a good shower. The lady on arrival and check in was extremely polite and friendly. The food is average you get what you pay for. It isn’t Michelin star food by any means but it’s also very reasonably priced. Ample parking and a good location. I would stay here again when in the area on business.

Myself and my 2 little girls had a amazing time here we have just arrived home. When I contacted premier inn to check If we'd get a room with a bath they sorted that for us so my girls were super excited as we only have a wet room at home as they have a disabled brother. All the staff and especially the staff in the restaurant for breakfast are super helpful so cheerful and lovely.
We really really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much to you all. Xxx

I felt they nailed the relaxing atmosphere, comfort of the rooms and social spaces. The rooms were comfortable with very little noise from carpeted corridors and soft closing doors. Good facilities and professional staff.

Another great stay at Manor Royal, Gatwick. Staff and service are lovely. Comfortable beds and rooms and so quiet you hardly hear anything once that room door is closed. Bar & restaurant menu has a wide choice of meals to suit everyone. Would highly recommend

Stayed here for one night prior to catching our flight from Gatwick.
We arrived at 9.30pm in the evening and left at 6am (8.5 hours!) the following day yet was charged for 2 days parking.
On arrival we were greeted by a large group of loud drunk guests in the hotel bar. Sadly these guests were served well into the night and at 1.30am pinballed their way down the corridor. The noise so loud it was as if they were in the room.
The sound proofing on the rooms is none existent. Traffic/carpark and fellow guests noise contributed to the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a while.
The rooms are cold, dated and unclean (bathroom). The beds were ridiculously uncomfortable.
In hindsight I wish I had woken up at 1.30am and driven the 4.5 hours from my home to the airport without staying here. I would have had the same amount of sleep and it would have been better quality and I would have saved myself a pretty penny.
The location to Gatwick airport is a positive and the shower had excellent water pressure.

Thank you
Take a cab.
Elizabeth-lovetravel asked a question Aug 2024
Hertford, United Kingdom7 contributions39 helpful votesHi we need to check into Gatwick south terminal at 4am, is there a shutter bus from hotel to terminal?
If not how much would a taxi cost?
Thank you
London Gatwick has a railway station and several shuttle buses connect the airport with other airports and cities.
There were no barriers in operation on Tuesday 23/8/2022. Alternatively there is a bus stop on Fleming Way less than 30 yards from reception
Sorry, my previous answer was for my latest hotel stay in Crawley. For the Manor hotel, I am sure a taxi can be booked without problem.
