Typical of Britania hotels this is tired and in need of a lot of TLC. Needs decorating and new room furniture. Better to pay more to stay closer to the airport with a little more comfort. Airport transfer is an extra £18 on top of room and breakfast for two at £100. It could be nice but like the test...

Even for the price it was still rubbish. Worst bed I have ever slept on, although handy for taxis and near Gatwick. Car park wasn't bad but the windows were broken, the mugs were dirty enough to warrant not touching and it was a generally unclean room.

Never ever stay here, rooms stink of cannabis and cigarettes, dirty bed sheet and staff speak hardly any English! Trading standards need to take a visit here!!!! I would advise anyone to book a different hotel than this one.

Useful for airport parking with an overnight stay either at start or end of flight. Room was well presented, clean, and the bed comfortable. Remember to add on cost of taxi to and from airport. At time of review this was a special price for hotel guests of £9. each way. Taxi service was quick and efficient.

We only stayed overnight as we were flying from Gatwick the next day. Fine for an overnight stay. Very old fashioned and a bit tired. We slept fine. There was a kettle and tea bags supplied.Bedding was clean. Room was a bit tatty and wardrobe had a wonky door.

This hotel is old and tired. The staff are shocking, not interested in guests just wanted to carry on. Asked for a morning call but they did not do it on the first morning so did not bother to ask for one the second morning. Bathrooms need a good clean tiles dirty and sink took ages to drain, shower very...

Put in a first room where the toilet seat was stained brown and the wallpaper was falling off and uneven. Scratches on every surface. Requested to move rooms which was accommodated efficiently by friendly staff. Moved to a bigger room which was better, but remained tired, old wallpaper, pictures hung in the wrong places in the room, hairs in the...

For a one night stay, for a trip where you plan to be in your room for as little time as possible, for cheap... that's the only time Britannia Lodge/Europa should even be a consideration. Parking at this hotel is an absolute nightmare, where there are literally cars dumped everywhere. To be honest, Europa looks as though it's been a...

When it's cost 40.00 quid you know it's not going to be perfect, but great location for airport, bar is cheap and two great pubs nearby. Buffett food and pub classics food available and yes it's average, rooms a bit dated and a little worse for where in places but 40 quid come on most other places was 80-200 quid....

We stayed at this hotel as part of a coach package. When we pulled into the carpark I remembered it from a previous coach package. The rooms are dirty, dated and this is the same throughout the hotel. The dark wood panelling needs either a proper clean or replacing. The carpets also need replacing they are dirty and threadbare in...
