Really good value for money, the room cost is low in comparison to other four star hotels in the area and the food is great, especially the breakfast. The staff are friendly and rooms are clean and accommodating. Can't argue for the price. Good value for money and will come back again !!!

We spent a night at this (ex Hilton) hotel as part of a family birthday celebration held in one of the function rooms and found the accommodation to be frankly barely adequate, partly because the hotel seems to be undergoing some kind of rather slow refurbishment since being sold by the Hilton group which has resulted in annoyances like the...

The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are clean and pleasant. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were available in the room. They have a very expansive room service menu but we decided to eat in the bar area. Food was good and service was quick. The bar area is contemporary decorated and very nice. The hotel is going...

Stayed at the Basingstoke hotel with dog and wife, whist down checking looking at houses in the area. We've stayed in all kind of hotels from Mandarin Orientals, Conrads and high end boutique hotels to Holiday Inns and Airport hotels, so have a wide spectrum to judge on. Some of the reviews on the Basingstoke hotel are unkind and unjust....

Had another great stay at the Basingstoke hotel. The food and wine is good. The staff are friendly and helpful especially Antonio the bar man. Cheers. The rooms are comfortable and the WiFi works well. Buffet breakfast with everything you would want. Good location for shopping centre. But out of the way enough to be quiet. Perfect location if you...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it really needs updating. It is faultlessly clean but old and worn. I had a room at the front of the hotel and during the night could be noisy as it overlooks the car park. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and had big fluffy pillows. I didn't eat dinner here as...

A pleasant hotel with a comfortable bed, the floorboards creaked a bit so I felt a tad sorry for whoever was in the room below me. The bathroom was OK, although it took a while for the hot water to get hot but once it did get hot it was OK. The cistern had an air lock which made what...

My wife and I and friends stopped at this hotel for the New Year’s Eve dinner dance including a night’s stay. Although my wife had booked the rooms well in advance we found on arrival that we had not been put in adjacent rooms but in rooms some distance apart. Our room was spacious, warm and quite well equipped with...

Christmas Day lunch for 8 family. Very good .Entertainment for the children with prizes. Food was book, with a Buffet style help yourself. Usual fare for Christmas. The Beef was a little too rare for me,looked like a bloodbath on my plate and the server of the Beef had blood dripping off his gloves. Apart from that a good lunch.
