We were able to get a room at the last minute having decided to stay in the area an extra day to do more ancestor hunting. Only a twin room available. The room was dated and a bit shabby but we were grateful to have somewhere to stay. The pub was very friendly, great atmosphere, staff. Alot of "energy" having...

Don't get me wrong. I could have reviewed this as great, had I wanted quirky and loud. Unfortunately I was attending a funeral the next day and the last thing I wanted to hear was the locals belting out Elvis Presley on the karaoke at midnight. It did stop at midnight. The place is quirky, and that's part of the...

I have to say this place is very different, but different in a good way. It's incredibly quirky which is a good thing. I would imagine you will be surprised. I'll say no more. Check it out for yourself.

We travel as a polo team quite often, and need to find accommodation within a budget. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed, and really affordable. A great breakfast is included as well. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are adorable. I would definitely come back and recommend.

This hotel is not your standard magnolia painted sterile box room that pretty much every other hotel in Walsall seems to provide. Oak panelled walls and four poster beds make it a treat to stay here. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained and the breakfast is very generous in size too. Friendly owners and reception staff make this...

Most pubs in Walsall cater for the younger generation, with the typical town centre bars converging in a small area that feel out of bounds for us older generation revellers. So the Lyndon House Hotel is a welcome place for us older-uns to visit. A little bit out of town, which tends to keep the younger revellers away and it's...

This is a superb place to stay overnight and enjoy the hospitality. The Bar area is large and they have a great selection of ales and spirits. The staff are very friendly. Sadly I couldn't have an evening meal there because of a function on the night I stayed. Breakfast the following morning however was satificatory. The whole hotel and...

Upside: Friendly/helpful staff, room was reasonably sized, comfortable and well stocked. The full English breakfast was fantastic: 2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, tomato, mushrooms and beans. Downside: Room bathroom looked in need of a refurbishment. Bed was broken but luckily I could sleep on it still. Noise throughout the night from elsewhere in the building. Vedict: Although there were...

The hotel staff are welcoming, the pub had good food at great prices and I could work there whilst dining which is different from a hotel restaurant. Room was quite busy pattern wise (see photos) but good size and decent bed etc. The one thing that let the place down is the traffic noise, my room was at the front...
