Solo break at Village Solihull. Decent price for a decent room. Reasonable meal in the Pub downstairs. Comfortable bed with a good nights sleep. Would use again particularly at the price I paid but not sure if this was a one-off because of Easter Weekend.

First time I have stayed at the Solihull Village hotel after once staying in the Village hotel in Nottingham. I found the Solihull Hotel to ne much better. The rooms were very nice and the gym was excellent.

I am writing to express my concern of my recents stay. I stay in Solihull a lot for work and have only just discovered the village hotel. I used to stay very regularly in Farnborough (Hampshire) which I loved, hence my initial booking with yourselves. However when I arrived I was far from thrilled. After upgrading my room to take...

Informed staff our room was dirty and they did nothing about it. We were told housekeeping would attend but they never turned up. We ended up sleeping in a dirty bed because it was time for our daughter to go to sleep. Pool was also closed which we were not told about when booking. Very poor stay.

Excellent customer service- staff were very helpful and attentive- can't fault them. However had a poor night sleep with noises in room coming from air conditioning unit/generator (although got up numerous times ensure it was off) and only had one thin pillow each- so woke up with neck ache.

Welcoming clean hotel with very hepful and professional staff. Breakfast was very good catering for both those requiring "full English" and those who perferred a lighter meal. Pub menu was restricted to only one veggie meal and only fish and chips as a fish course. Would have liked more choice.

Really disappointed with Village, would never stay there again. Hiding behind the bold colours is a dirty run down hotel. Guest toilets dirty on every occasion used, room dusty, room cleaned so late, was about 18.00, useful, pool not working, hot tub not working, eyes sting in steam room, breakfast restaurant service terrible, breakfast choice mean, breakfast quality poor, a...
