I have been staying at this hotel for the past 2 years when I am in Preston on business. The staff are always excellent and the newly refurbished rooms are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is always excellent. Just one small moan, the showers in all the rooms have no pressure, so bad I fact it's hard to...

We have stayed here many times and love it! Great if you are on your way to the Lakes or visiting Blackpool. Very comfortable and friendly staff, love the Walled Garden for breakfast. A visit to the Garden Centre is always a must too!

My friend and I had intended to meet for morning coffee in the Walled Garden (bistro and part of the Barton Grange complex), but when we arrived, the lady said they didn't open till 11:30. She offered to bring us coffee and toasted teacakes in the hotel lounge instead. It was fairly quiet and yet comfortable. We say in the...

A hotel with a sense of humour! I won't spoil the surprise but when you check in take a look at the signs hanging on the back of your bedroom door - inspired! Great breakfast, sure sign that the boss likes his food! Went to visit their garden centre just down the road on the recommendation of the Receptionist... WOW!...

The hotel is amazing and so are some of the normal basic staff, however the deputy manager and manager are quite patronising and intrusive into peoples personal lives. The manner in which the deputy and manager were intrusive into our personal lives was not acceptable and the manner in which I sent a complaint about the managers deputy Geraldine was...

I stayed in the hotel on a Saturday night with my two children, sister, niece and mother as part of my mothers Birthday celebrations and can not rate it highly enough. The staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming without being fawning, the room we stayed in, although not huge by modern hotel standards was spotlessly clean and well appointed....

One of the most comfortable hotels to stay in with polite, friendly and very helpful staff (even when confronted by a lively 4 year old). The choice and standard in the walled garden restaurant was excellent and not over priced, and although there was a large function taking place in one of the suites there was no noise.

We stayed here for a presentation night we were invited to. The food was lovely, everything was well organised with plenty of staff waiting on but the drinks were a bit expensive.
