Friendly staff and a quiet hotel, not the most modern of rooms but was clean and the bed was soooo comfortable!!! We were attending a wedding at Bartle Hall which was only about 2 miles away, the location isn't great if you want a nice view but was fine for what we wanted. paid £35 for the room excellent value...

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and evening meal in the adjoining bar restaurant was good value for money. The hotel is quite isolated but as we were using it as a stop over to attend a wedding at a nearby hotel this wasn't a problem. Overall the hotel was satisfactory for...

Narrow beds in this one. And quite hard. The room is in need of a paint job. Bathroom is pokey and taps hard to turn so they drip. Paint peeling from ceiling and chipped back to wood on door frame in bathroom. Plenty of car parking space. Friendly staff, and certainly clean enough. The Inn next door has good breakfast...

Great value for money. Excellent food. By a main road but couldn't hear a thing. Very comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Pub next door equally as good for dinner and breakfast at great value.

Paid for family room for 4. Astonished to find a mattress thrown on the floor for the 4th person to sleep on. Food was over an hour wait and when it arrived it was poor. My daughters was burned and my Wife had to leave her chicken as she could not get her knife through it.

Great value for money. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The rooms were excellent and everything we needed was available. We would definetly stay here again. Had our meals in Lea Gate (next door) and the food and service were of a high standard and great value for money.

This is clearly an older style Premier Inn; that is, it didn't have the usual luxuriously comfy bed that most do, and is a little tired looking. The bed wasn't the comfiest, but was ok. For £39 a night, we couldn't really complain. Pros were very friendly reception staff; and it was quiet, despite our room being on the side...

Possibly an original Premier Inn but one good thing about the older versions is that they have decent sized baths. Very helpful receptionists and the room was fine. Room was at the back and despite it being Grand National day the hotel was very quiet. Easily accessed from M6 and the directions were spot on.

Good hotel shame about the bathroom in the room we had other people's hairs and slight mould in places but great location from blackpool about 20-30mins which is great it is on a main road but don't hear much traffic unless window is open. Would stay again
