Such a lovely place and a fantastic setting. Have to say visited similar properties and this is by far the cleanest I have seen fair play to Housekeeping as I can see the hard work that goes into the place. Whilst Sunday lunch is pricy and I can't understand being charged for a tiny sorbet we were given if you...

My partner and I stayed at Charingworth Manor on Friday 2nd December 2016. Upon arrival at the hotel, approx. 7-7.30pm we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and informed that our room had been upgraded. We got settled into our room and then had a quick swim before the spa area closed for the evening. Feeling relaxed but tired from...

recently visited the charingworth manor for a couple of nights, on 28/29 dec, we got a good rate from booking.com, the standard rate is well over the top for this hotel, it has a lovely setting about 2.5 miles from the town, but is in need of some money being spent on it as the showers are a bit patchy...

Dear Guests Thank you for your comments after your recent stay and apologies you experienced difficulties with the showers during your stay. We did have a plumbing issue with one of our boilers that had now been rectified. Kind Regards Michael General Manager

We have now been three (or is it four?) times to this hotel and it never fails to rise to the occasion. We (four of us) stayed on Christmas Eve and Christmas night here and were looked after beautifully by the same staff (who seems to have been there every time we have been ) so had a really great...

Twenty years ago we stayed at Charingworth Manor to celebrate a significant birthday. We returned last week to celebrate another significant birthday! Any attempt to re-live our earlier stay was useless! Although we expected some changes, we didn't expect the standards to have dropped by such a wide margin. The staff, with the exception of one female receptionist were excellent....

Visited New Year's Eve for the gala dinner. Received a very warm welcome from reception staff & taken to our room. This was our second visit & we were quite disappointed with our room this time (which was directly above reception) after a fantastic room last time with beautiful views. The room was very noisy although we were next to...

Dear Guests Thank you for your comments after your New Year stay with us, I'm glad on the whole you enjoyed your stay with us. This time you did have one of our standard classic bedrooms which are the smallest rooms we have, rather than the larger deluxe room you staying in on your last visit. I do agree that...

We stayed one night with our adult daughter and another couple as we traveled thru Cotswold area and Bath. We found the rooms well appointed and comfortable. In the morning, we took our coffee ( sorry, we are from the States !!!) and sat in the sitting area in front of the manor and enjoyed the gorgeous English country side...

Had a post Xmas two night break here. Lovely setting - very peaceful and just what you need after Xmas. Small and cosy room, which we were gratefully upgraded to. Evening meal in restaurant was very good. Our bath/shower water never got very hot at all and we did bring this to the attention of the reception staff, who were...

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Charingworth Manor. We were made completely welcome at reception, upgraded to a lovely room in the newer part of the hotel and enjoyed a top 3 course meal in the restaurant for dinner. And to top it off, we got engaged in the grounds, couldn't have hoped for a more magical and memorable...
