Luther King House is a great hotel - they say that you get what you pay for but that's not always true. Here, your money goes a long way. The location has everything, every room has what it needs, but the best thing by far is the customer service. Martin and the kitchen staff and Jackie and team on the...

We stayed for a night here in order to visit the Christmas markets in Manchester. Right on the doorstep to the curry mile in Rusholme. We caught the bus to the city centre for a pound and it took about 30 min, give and take traffic. There are a few bars close to the hotel (10 min walk) but these...

The hotel is basic but just right. kept clean at all times. staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was very nice too. Hotel is nice and quiet. Only minute walk to get the bus which takes you to manchester city. We instead walked to piccadilly park which took us about an hour. great value for money. will recommend and...

Based on what I experienced during my stay, there are some very unfair reviews on Trip Advisor about the Luther King House. For £32, I got: A very warm room (much appreciated on a cold winter night) A refurbished and spotlessly clean room with ensuite shower and loo, sink, writing desk, cupboard and satellite TV Coffee making facilities and a...

The hotel looks like it was once a shoot or something similar . It's vey quiet and the breakfast was very nice . You get continental breakfast in with the price of the room which for the money is good value . The rooms are spaces but are very dated and the water system noisy . Reception is clean and...

The rooms are basic and clean , there is free parking and the staff are great . Special mention to the breakfast chef , lovely bloke and...

Needed a hotel for 2 couples visiting Manchester for a concert on a Saturday night. A good location with free onsite parking. Location is close enough to city centre for it to only cost £1 on the bus yet far enough away from the city centre for the prices not to be ramped up to extortionate levels on a Saturday...

Stayed here for business as a last minute stopover ( usual hotels all booked up) and thought £50 with breakfast sounded reasonable. General: limited parking in the car park so had to settle for on road parking at the bottom of the drive in Rusholme... doesn't make for a good nights sleep. It's a pain to find, only signposted from...

As it's half term the hotel prices in central Manchester are pretty steep! This hotel is just outside the city centre just off Wilmslow Road (The curry mile). We purchased a stagecoach day ticket for £4 and we went into Manchester twice and back to meet family and then go to a club in the evening. The buses run till...

Stayed with my son after a football match, neither of us slept much very uncomfortable beds despite an apparent upgrade from our booked room , poor decorative state my son asked why there was a hole in the wall . Over all feeling of a youth hostel rather than a hotel !! Basic breakfast .
