It was our second stay at the hotel & a wonderful time was had From the off you are treated well by the doorman, reception staff & concierge staff. We had a delicious sandwich after checking in. Our room was small but spotlessly clean, cosy. We didn't sleep too well as the room was too hot. We mentioned it to...

Stayed here for a cheeky weekend away and got a great deal with an upgrade to a suite with breakfast 👌🏼 All of the staff we came into contact with were friendly and cheerful, our room was lovely, it was old and had character but loved it! Highly recommended for a central stay in Manchester

This was a more expensive option but I assumed it was expensive because it was better. It is a tired hotel in real need of renovation. It's also not kept very clean - carpets don't seem to get hoovered too often. The rooms are big and the hot water works but I struggled with the plug in the shower and...

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and upgraded our room from the standard to executive level. Our room was on the 6th floor which was very spacious with a lovely sized bathroom my only criticism being there was a large pillar between the lounge area / bathroom and the bed which proved difficult to navigate around in...

Went to Midland Hotel for Afternoon Tea with high expectations last week having experienced the excellent standard of service and customer care in Mr. Coopers Restaurant last month. What a let-down! We were asked to wait on arrival by a young lady with a vague gesture to a seating area accompanied with a distinct lack of interest in guests or...

I pretty much lived here for most of the working week last week. I've stayed a few times before but this time was excellent. Primarily it was the staff. Even when we had a queue for breakfast on one of the mornings- it was dealt with quickly and professionally. The food is good, room service excellent and the spa and...

Just come back from a spa break at the midland hotel. The place is fantastic, lovely staff, lovely rooms and the spa is fab. We had afternoon tea which was just enough, the scones were still warm😊. Breakfast was a great choice and plenty of it. If you want to have a luxurious weekend the midland hotel is for you👍🏻

I booked the midland for my 24th anniversary .. Rather than go ultra modern like the Innside or bit further out like the Lowry .. Thought classy would do after staying in Marker in Dublin. I booked a king guest... On arrival I was told room was still dirty - their word.. We arrived at 8pm!! We were allocated another...

Went for afternoon tea with a friend as a treat on a Saturday afternoon. Hotel seemed lovely. Staff were friendly when we arrived. However you don't get any choices of sandwiches or cakes for afternoon tea. The sandwiches felt like they had been left out for a while. Unfortunately non of the sandwiches or cakes where to my taste. The...

The midland is an iconic hotel/ building on Manchester. It has been refurbished to the highest standard very sympathetically. Exterior is eye catching as architecture is just wonderful. - victorian ? All public areas retain original charm but modern day luxury as do the bedrooms. Bedrooms are a good size and are furnished well. Beds large and very comfortable. Bathrooms...
