We stayed for Christmas to be near our family. The Hotel has been a long time favourite which I use regularly and enjoy. The staff were charming and helpful and the stay most enjoyable, albeit that we spent little time in the Hotel wining and dining, because we were out with family most of the time.

Excellent venue, comfortable room and very helpful staff. Unfortunately one of the lifts was out of action so it could be a bit of a wait for one to turn up. It's location is very close to the city centre so a perfect place from where to explore Manchester.

A party of 14 for afternoon tea at the start of January to celebrate my retirement. We had afternoon tea with Madeira wine and prosecco. The service was not great could have been much better. My veggie sandwiches were not very inspiring and scones very dry. We had a good time but I would ha e expected more from the...

Brought my mum in 2016 and she liked it so much I brought her again a year on. The area where they serve the tea is lovely and the atmosphere and service is very good. The amount of afternoon tea you get is good however we were a bit disappointed with some of the sandwich selection, the dark dark brown...

I booked an afternoon tea at the Midland Hotel through Groupon, for a christmas present for my mum and I am so happy I did!! Our Afternoon Tea was booked for the 16th January 2017 at 1:30, we arrived about an hour early due to trains, this wasn't a problem and we were seated in the Octagon Lounge and had...

Nice, clean hotel and room, if you are looking for a hotel with a bit of character, history and nostalgia. Asked and got a free upgrade to one of the outer facing rooms that faces Manchester Central, as it was quiet. Although I thought I had booked room only, a fabulous breakfast at the garden restaurant was included. Ideal to...

My family and I came in for afternoon tea (celebrating my 21st birthday). My sister and I are both vegan but were provided with a fully vegan afternoon tea with lovely sandwiches, fruit salad to replace the scones and a delicious set of cakes (brownie, apple and almond and carrot cake). Really nice selection of teas to choose from and...
