Stayed here for a hen weekend in Manchester. Booked pretty last minute so very few twin rooms left in the city and this was the only one in our price range (we paid £72). The Good: Welcome on reception, comfort of beds, power of shower, free wifi. The Bad: Breakfast- complete with instant coffee (urgh), the staff at breakfast, the...

Ideal location in the centre of Manchester. Badly needing an upgrade. Room was tatty and dusty. Window sills were very dirty and windows desperately needed to be cleaned. Bed comfy. Room too hot no air con. Had to sleep with the window open and at 2am the bin men came round emptying the bottle bins at the near by pub....

Great value for a city centre hotel, however was tired looking. A small front entrance meant it was a bit difficult to spot. The staff weren't over friendly, it was late when I arrived. The central areas of the hotel are tired looking and the stair carpets very worn, could do with a face lit. The room I had was...

Helpful and friendly reception staff, hotel is in a really good location. It is a little tired looking, but it's very good value for money and clean. Would recommend the hotel if you are just wanting to use it as a Base whilst you are out and about in the city

The Hotel is in a good location although took a while to find as there are trees that cover the sign. The staff are very friendly and the shower is very powerful and easy to figure out. The rooms could do with modernising and the lift could do with being either serviced or replaced. The rooms were extremely hot and...

Good Morning & thank you taking the time to write your review, it is unfortunate that the trees are obscuring the hotel frontage, we are aware of this however this is an issue with the local council which is ongoing. Our internal rooms are without a window which does make them slightly warmer however, extra fans / extension leads are...

We stayed here as we went to see Maroon5.We were welcomed and told where our room was. We asked for some ice which we were given and upon leaving for the concert we were shown the back entrance as this was where the taxis were pulling up and there our taxi was waiting. On our arrival back from the concert...

Very decent for a budget hotel. Clean and well kept. Room was well equipped, had all the facilities a hotel room needs. We particularly enjoyed the four poster bed, sofa and coffee table, and the Jacuzzi bath (albeit it was a bit noisy!). 24hr reception was a great feature, as we had to check out early to make our flight....

This is a basic hotel which offers very cheap rooms. Accepting that then it is exceptionally good value but at the prices they charge do not expect fancy extras. If you book online then the breakfast is included in the price.

When we arrived, it was clear that the receptionist, who was working his last shift, was having a bad day. There was confusion over our booking as the address had been mixed up somehow and didn't match the address it was booked under. The receptionist was rude and made comments under his breath and swore a few times. He chilled...
