Firstly I must say this hotel is very new and is therefore very clean and spotless. The staff are all really nice and polite.Bedrooms immaculate and well cleaned , they look as though no one has stayed there before which is a credit to the staff. However as we stayed two nights we we able to experience ‘breakfast ‘on two occasions. The first morning we were down at 9.10 am , massive queue for food, people were going in to breakfast and leaving the same way.Which is a concern in COVID times. Although breakfast is free ,the quality of the food is not good, cheap sausage, very salty bacon,we tried the apple juice as no orange , awful tasting and had to leave it. The next morning again we were faced with an even longer queue , this time people where spaced out around the room correctly however we were informed that waiting time was 30 mins standing in this queue , but if we wanted a continental breakfast we could go to the bar- which we did. I was not happy with what we were offered , no cheese, no ham ,no bread, no butter , no jams or spreads , no cutlery, We were given a croissant, no butter tillI asked for some, a pan o chocolate , offered a yoghurt , or apple or orange, he also had to go to get a tea bag as I don’t drink coffee. He came back with 1 teabag , I just thought hope-no one else asks for tea... , no knife to put butter on with. The orange juice in a small bottle had no taste of orange at all - undrinkable. To be honest I Would rather pay for a decent breakfast either Cooked or continental We have stayed at many Hilton hotels and this breakfast offering is not the usual- very disappointing.

Hotel's Favourite
Just come back from a lovely, comfortable stay here. We booked two rooms a double and a twin and both rooms were very clean and cannot fault a thing. Rooms had air con, beautiful modern toilet and shower room. Beds very comfortable. Both rooms had an ironing board and iron and also a hairdryer. Complimentary Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner was also available. Breakfast was included in the price and had plenty of options (even a gluten free options) Chef was very helpful! Every member of staff was polite and couldn’t do enough for you. Hotel is very close to Victoria station and a short walk away to Arndale shopping centre. Would highly recommended this hotel and will certainly be returning as soon as we can. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This hotel is excellent - we stayed just for 1 night to meet friends we hadn't seen for nearly 4 years - and it was a pity our flight back to London was early next day as we could have stayed and enjoyed this hotel for at least a few nights. Welcome was warm and professional, everywhere immaculate and clean and the room very well appointed and comfortable. All the staff we met were brilliant, breakfast was good, very nice bar and pleasant atmosphere overall. Great location, just a few minutes walk from all the bars and restaurants in the Northern Quarter. We decided to get the tram from Manchester airport to get a feel of the city rather than the train, direct route (but a lot of stops) to Shudehill which is just 5 -10 minute walk from hotel and right in the heart of the Northern Quarter! Sad to check out, Louise ensured it was an easy process and like all the staff we encountered she was excellent. Next time in Manchester we will definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time at this hotel, we had a family room for my family of 4 which was 2 rooms with an outer secured door. It was really lovely and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was adequate, there were long queues and a member of staff served the hot food but it was efficiently managed and par for the course in these covid times. There was a decent range but the orange juice was vile. Everything in the common areas was reassuringly clean and guests were asked to wear masks which were provided at reception if needed. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town centre and walking distance to the train station. I would definitely return here next time I visit Manchester and would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

We had such a great stay at the Hilton, just out of outside restrictions it was very busy in the city but the location of this hotel meant that even if we had no place to go we could nip back for a drink in our own bar. The service was excellent, the breakfast was lovely, the room was really nice! Thank you to all the staff we will be back xx
