A beautiful hotel in a great location just a short walk to the city centre & in easy reach the many bars & restaurants in Spinningfields. The hotel staff were friendly & accommodating, happy to ring for taxis, find spare toothbrushes & provide us with a camp bed for one night so that an extra guest could stay in our...

I am a regular guest at Marriott hotels and although this was the first time I have stayed at this particular Marriott, I would certainly return to it again in the future. Check-in was excellent - Swift and we had access to our room earlier than the official check-in time which was great. The room was spotless, spacious and everything...

Stayed hear for 2 nights in December. Very nice hotel, clean and well laid out. Rooms very nice with exposed brick and wooden beams. Positioned on a canal just a short walk from the centre. Think this was an old warehouse. Facilities were good and the staff pleasant. A couple of niggles to mention. We paid £169 on the first...

Dear Richard W, Thank you for your positive comments on our service and product. We used the hotel as a short stay whilst we attended a Madonna concert at the MEN Arena. We arrived in Manchester by train and walked to the hotel. We were early arriving so it was good service to be offered early check in at 1.30pm. Be aware car parking is steep at £16 so arriving by train was a...

We went as a Christmas booking from work. The meal was set at a price of £50 per head. The food was of very poor quality. The hotel form part of a large chain and any attempts to complain were fruitless as the management don't appear to respond and point you into the direction of head office and an email...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in the vibrant Manchester city centre on the banks of the River Irwell, the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel in England exudes a historical charm. Our cozy 4-star Manchester hotel's location across from Granada Television Studios is ideal, as guests enjoy a short and pleasant stroll to the Opera House, Spinningfields area, and Palace Theatre. Since our Manchester city center hotel's origin was a warehouse built in 1844, you will find many authentic details in our guest rooms including exposed brick and oak beams. Our £3 million renovation in 2014 highlights the old architecture and new contemporary flair, along with modern comforts and services. ... more   less
