Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

Nestled conveniently close to airport terminals, the Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport is often celebrated for its stylish ambiance and cozy bar. Although the hotel's cleanliness and friendly staff generally earn rave reviews, opinions on room decor and air conditioning are mixed, with some guests finding them outdated or inadequate. While the prime location is a hit among travelers, the value proposition is contentious due to high prices. Amenities receive a polarized reception, and noise levels occasionally disrupt the peace.

I made a reservation for weekend 16th to 17th March 2024. Paid for in full with my debit card on March 7th. Paid for breakfasts on 17th morning and a bottle of wine oaid on arrival. Unfortunately, due to illness I was unable to attend and called but was told during call to cancel online. This is my first time and will be my last. Sadly, I was charged again and money taken from my account twice. I couldn't understand why. Today, I called Leeds Radisson Blu and several times nobody was unable to help. No call back, no response to my emails. Their terms were night is not refundable but they have refused to refund my bottle of wine almost £28 and breakfasts. If that's not bad enough charged me again for cancellation, absolutely ridiculous 🙄. Alter shambles. Never return.

Hotel's Favourite
Another return visit to the hotel for a New York predeparture stay. So convenient to access from airport station. Checked in 5pm so room ready. Had an executive room on the top ninth floor. Room was spotless but unfortunately wasn’t lucky enough to get a runway view this time. The view from the executive lounge made up for this. Quality branded wines, spirits and soft drinks as well as tea and coffee. Also sweet and savoury canapés available until 9pm where you help yourself. Do note that the savoury canapés are served until 7:30 pm and then dessert platters only are put out. So don’t expect an olive to go with your martini if you arrive later in the evening. As a solo traveller the lounge was a lovely place to make new friends and socialise in the evening. Plenty of seating and definitely worth paying the extra for the £250 room rate. Breakfast was of usual high quality. I had it in my room and it was delivered hot and on time and included the most delicious Bloody Mary I’ve ever tasted. I did also have the option of returning to the executive lounge to enjoy breakfast with a view but preferred to watch tv in my room before a noon checkout. I forgot to pack toothpaste so a dental kit was brought to my room swiftly. I also needed a document printing so I rang reception and they kindly had it ready and waiting for me when I checked out. Smooth checkout as you can do it online. My only slight criticism of the stay is the way the security person notified guests that the lounge was due to close. Our exits were dealt with more in the manner of a rude and aggressive doorman booting people out of a nightclub in the early hours. When in fact we were all mature, professional guests enjoying and sharing holiday stories and experiences in a relaxing and enjoyable environment before flying on long haul flights. To end on a positive, I must say what an asset to the hotel Marta is who spent all evening discreetly ensuring the canapé station was replenished and kept immaculately clean. A thank you to her.

The bathrooms are dated but scrupulously clean . The staff are always helpful and friendly . The food in the restaurant is hit and miss and the staff are very overworked as it’s difficult to grab their attention to pay at the end . Lovely bunch though when you can hrs. Them . Nice hotel for an early flight

Stayed in an executive runway view room before a holiday. The first bit nothing to do with the hotel but when will manchester airport get the walkways fixed ? For people with health issues they are a godsend. Pull you fingers out MAG ! Check-in was super quick. Perfect. The room was nice and the view was stunning. Nice selection of tea/coffee and good toiletries. Bed was comfy and nice and big. The fixtures and fittings were a bid scuffed in places. Thought it was odd to provide only one arm chair and a massive puffee. Two arm chairs would be much more sensible. The sound proofing to the runway needs a little work. Yes I know its an airport but I've stayed in many of the heathrow hotels where you can't hear a thing. Shower was nice but honestly a bath would be nice to have a soak. One of the dressing gowns didn't have a belt. The lounge was very busy and the one member of staff was run off her feet. There was a big group in. They didn't move for at least 5 hours probably longer and were very loud and hammering the drink. Could have probably have used a manager to have a word and check they all should have been in there I have a sneaking suspicion they weren't all staying in the exec rooms. The drinks were plentiful but there was always a shortage of glasses. The nibbles were also nice. At breakfast time they had some pastries. I'd always wanted to go in this lounge but the view was better from my room no bar in the way. The single chairs with the footstools were excellent. The pool area was nice. The sauna and steam room were good also. However to pay top dollar for a hotel and then have to share the facilities with non-guest of the hotel making the place crowded is not something I expect. Wanted something quick to eat so went to the little-M bar. What a mistake. 45 minutes from when we eventually managed to put an order in for 1 pizza and chips is not acceptable and we had to chase that. This bar is also expensive. £13.50 for an aperol spritz - really ??? BEWARE - The raddison automatically add 10% service charge and also include another space for a tip which I happen to think is very poor and designed to catch people out. I'd had terrrible service so there was no way I was paying another 10% on top of the already high price. So had to have the embarassing scene of asking the waitress to remove it. The breakfast was a high point. Well worth the money excellent food and drink. Raddison you have to up your game. The only thing you have going for you are the views and the breakfast.

Check in .. Ignore (who must be the boss’s son or he’d have been sacked) the mid thirty person with beard. Thrown my key after I gave my name and nothing. No welcome, not even even an add on offer of meal/breakfast. When you’ve booked and paid for an executive room you expect basic manners and respect.. the lack of help with exec lounge time etc. and just lack of interest in general suggested I was unlucky to meet a square peg in a round hole . I honestly hope they move in to a job they feel they can add value

Excellent hotel. Friendly, professional staff, room spotless, huge bed with high end linen. I am travelling solo and ordered a meal from room service. Food was fresh, well presented and delivered with a smile. I cannot fault anything about my stay at all.

Syeed. The waiter in the restaurant was brilliant. Very efficient at his job. Friendly, kind and me me laugh. As a solo diner he made me feel very welcome and at ease. Thank you! He provides the kind of customer service that is normally missing these days.
