Stated here for 2 nights with 3 others in a quadruple room with private shower and toilet. It's not too central that you get all the noise from the bars and maybe 10 minutes walk into the main centre to find the bars. Pros.. Great value for money Each bed had a private light. Usb sockets.mains plug Beds fairly comfortable...

Thank you for your review and recommendation, we've only recently installed the bed lights with USB sockets so it's great to hear they're appreciated! The housekeepers should always knock and announce themselves before entering a room so we're sorry to hear this didn't happen, I've passed your feedback on to our housekeeping manager to investigate. We hope you had a...

I used the YHA as accommodation after a night out. It did the job, was very cheap, had a nice reception area, was clean, staff friendly and helpful and was a good location. Down sides were the staff at the desk were slow at doing anything, checking us in, getting drinks or food or anything else. There was also no...

Not bad but quite expensive, broken WiFi for all the weekend and noisy people early in the morning that even tripped an alarm without the hostel doing much about it. Room was clean and OK but for the price I'd expect a bit more. The whole place is a bit sterile and not much of a vibe.

The Location is within a 10-minute walk of all the sites. It is close to some cool bars and restaurants. The rooms were clean and tidy with a small restroom in each room. The property is awesome and has a delightful view of the waterways. The staff was helpful and friendly and made for a good stay.

Conference room good. Stayed overnight. Slight problem with returning guests at 2am. Not the best time to start deep discussions on the patio. Soon sorted by the night manager. Self catering could do with some updating.

I found this YHA to be very quiet and friendly overall. I was there for about 2 weeks and enjoyed my stay. I thought the food (from the cafe) was a little pricey however. The ladies at reception were helpful and nice. I found the wifi quite annoying for the first few days when I was upstairs and it didn't...

I've never stayed in a hostel before so I don't have anything to compare to but I enjoyed my stay. The hostel and room was clean and had a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful and the food was great.

6 JAN. 2016 -- The hostel is only a block from the Museum of Science and Industry. The entire place has a modern look to the architecture. The room was clean and had twin bunks. It was a 4 person private en-suite room with a view of the canal. There is a communal kitchen near the main lobby and It...

The catering here is some of the best I've ever experienced in a hostel. The only problem is that it tends to be very noisy at night with groups coming and going in and out of rooms. But otherwise, an excellent hostel in a good location.

I've passed on your comments regarding the catering to my Kitchen Manager who was thrilled and will be sharing with his team. As for noise. We've taken a number of steps in recent months to try and combat this including introduction of signs and a more proactive approach in speaking to groups and guests returning from nights out.
