The Pictures are amazingly done, Because it's definitely not what I booked. I was going to stay for 10nights and decided I would high tale it out of there and find a new hotel after the first night. The staff we're unhelpful and not even apologetic (not even a forced smile and fake 'sorry') The rooms haven't had much maintains...

We stayed here for my hen do and it is a good hotel in that the location is great and it is full of hen do's (or was that night at least!). It could do with a refresh in terms of decor but it did exactly what we needed it to do. If I was going away for the night...

We stayed on a Friday night and to be honest after reading the reviews we were a little apprehensive. We were totally taken by surprise, the hotel was lovely. Its not the Ritz but it was extremely comfortable and close to all shops etc. Without hesitation I will book this hotel again next time im in Manchester

We stayed over night to see Neil Diamond in concert . The Mitre is beautiful. It is quirky as it is old and the furnishings are wonderful. Our room was huge with a wonderful bathroom and stand alone bath and seperate shower super. Our breakfast was very good and served timely. The Cathedral is opposite and we went inside to...

Booked here last minute after a disastrous night elsewhere in Manchester. The location is great as its right near the shopping centre and within walking distance of Printworks which is full of options for eating and drinking. The free metro buses from the train station drop off near the shopping centre so easy to get about as well. The hotel...

The location of this hotel is great, although difficult to see if you're driving! There is a car park near by on great ducie st (£10 for 24hrs), there's a lot of roadworks going on in the area at the moment so it was a nightmare trying to find the hotel by car. The room itself was clean but not...

Stayed here for a week whilst back in Manchester visiting family. Although a little tired in places the hotel offers everything you would need for a comfortable stay including hair dryer, iron and ironing board, towels, mini soaps, shower gel and tea and coffee making facilities which where replenished daily. The staff were really fantastic and they made a real...

I can't say a bad word about the price of location but the condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. I am giving it a 3 not 1 because of nice staff and location being so central. The staff were on the whole friendly but like all old hotels... I mean really old, you will be dreaming of...

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, opposite Manchester Cathedral. We got a last minute deal for £30 on the hotel so were not expecting anything special, but what we did expect was warm running water. Upon arrival I decided to use the shower in the bathroom and to my "delight" found it to be freezing cold...

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in, only stayed here due to arriving at midnight from a flight and not having anywhere else to go at that time of night! The room for the price was overpriced (could have stayed at a premier inn for the same price and would have been better) the photos are deceiving! Would...
