Myself (21), my partner and my mum stayed here for one night as we were going to see a Manchester City football game, and this is very local (6 minute drive away), while enough out of the way to not cause traffic or issues. This is a pro. When we arrived, it was nice to find a large car park... More

I too was dubious after reading it other reviews but I was delighted with the check-in, very professional and friendly. My room was very good with an excellent choice of lighting and mirrors in the right place, so many more expensive hotels go for subtle lighting and not properly positioned mirrors!! Free wifi was very good and a flat screen... More

Stopped here for 1 night to do Christmas Shopping and National Cycling Centre. Contacted the Hotel in advance to make sure OK to leave car in Car Park as we were arriving early. Told to call at Reception just to make them aware of our arrival, which we did and there was no problem leaving the car. Used the bus... More

We booked this hotel as we were meeting friends in Manchester! On check in I was very impressed with the reception area, the girl on reception was very friendly! We were told that we could have our room changed to a front facing one ad it would be quieter much to my delight! We returned about 9.30 pm the room... More

I stayed here recently with my partner and our friends as we were visiting the races for the night. We weren't disappointed and had a great time. The room was modern and clean and we had a lovely, quiet nights sleep. The bed was so comfortable and the power shower really woke you up in the morning. The lounge area... More

Diamond Lodge is everything you could hope for in a budget hotel for a weekend stay. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, the power shower was superb and we had no disturbance from traffic noise or anything else. Check in/ out was very easy and the breakfast was excellent. I have stayed in a lot worse and paid double... More

Hotel good and breakfast is good. Room ok, some little damage but not hotel fault, it the people who stay there have no respect. It best have room at the back of the hotel because we had front of the hotel and you can hear busy main road. We would stay there again.

Thank Nigel N
