I got very disappointed by the personnel and the policy of this Hotel. I have booked a room with the wrong date and after 15 minutes I called them to amend it. They could not change my book and they were not willing to refund me the fee because 'due to my booking they have lost clients for that room'.... More

We booked here for a night for the recent Stone Roses gigs as we basically just needed somewhere to throw our bags in and get our heads down at the end of the night. We were pleasantly surprised to find a full english breakfast was included in the price if up between 8.00am and 10.00am the following morning. The room... More

I stayed at the Crown and Anchor whilst visiting Manchester.Arriving by train the B&B was a leisurely 10 minute walk from Piccadilly Station. The B&B is Ideally situated near many shops and the City Centre is a few minutes walk away. I had a full english for breakfast which was very good. I could help myself to cereal, yoghurt, tea coffee and... More

Stayed there for the Acdc concert in June. Great Central location, 10 mins walk from Manchester picadilly station. Nice little pub with good food, all freshly cooked and didn't seem microwaved. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. OK it's not 5 star so dont expect it. It has a shared bathroom facilities but this was never a problem.... More

Room and shared bathroom very clean. Our room was a little small but had everything we needed. Nice breakfast cooked to order. friendly staff. Large outside seating area to back of pub was unexpected. Good location, just a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly. I would stay again.

As a solo female traveller who'd never been to Manchester before, I was more than overwhelmed by the great welcome and gracious reception I got from the staff. The owner, Debbie, showed such care and made sure I was okay on my first day and I had the pleasure of being 'Debbified'. If you are curious about what that refers... More

Popped in for a drink and bite to eat. Waitress showed us to a table and fetched us a menu etc. Cleaned table specially as we were eating. Partner went to bar to get a drink. I asked passing waitress a question about an item on menu to be told kitchen just closed. Disgusting.

18 of us headed over for 2 night stay for a stag. Perfect location for some of the main night life areas, although we spend most of our time in Chinatown just a few minutes away. Rooms clean and fresh (although some black out curtains would have been a bonus) and toilets very clean (despite some previous reviews to the... More

Good location next to northern quarter and Piccadilly train station! Good breakfast! clean rooms and bathroom especially with it being shared. Could do with a lick of paint in certain areas like the staircase. Exactly what we expected and needed, would go back again!

We came for a half piny before the big game. The place is spacious though the ceilings were low and there's no lock on the toilet. Let's fix that for sure. The drinks were cold and the prices were cheap. Definitely worth a visit.
