Well where do I start? My mum and dad booked a few rooms for me my husband, uncle and brother as we where going to see bat out of hell the musical in Manchester so we stayed for 2 nights. Wow. Our room was really dated and needed a lot of work. The bed was ok but the pillows were...

We always hold family parties in one of the function rooms at Fairways Lodge. The buffet is always very good, and our guests love to stay overnight in the adjoining hotel. The gym is very well equipped and the staff are friendly and welcoming throughout

We booked to stay in this hotel because of the leisure facilities but only the Sauna was working so we could not get the full benefit of leisure part of our break. The staff were hard to talk to, on checking in we were told we had breakfast so when we went into breakfast we were asked our room number...

Upon arrival at the hotel the outside is nice, could do with some updating but it's not awful. The carpark is big and has plenty of space to park considering the amount of rooms the place has. We were greeted at reception by a rude receptionist who had a mouth full of food and continued eating throughout check in. She...

This hotel very much reminds me of when you watch a childhood hero or middle aged football player taking part in an exhibition match. You can see plenty of positives that you enjoy but you wish you had seen him playing at his prime. This hotel falls very much into that category. At check in, I was greeted by a...

On arriving receptionist busy eating and continued to eat throughout check in. Rooms okay but could do with some TLC. Net curtains filthy dirty. Dining was a treat. Good food and service. Wifi hit and miss. Overall a reasonable experience

Me and my husband stayed here for a night of 'us' time. We really enjoyed it. We watched the match in the bar infront of a roaring open fire - it was bliss. We had a chilled out time and had lovely bar food. It was unpretentious and relaxing. The atmosphere was friendly as were the staff and the room...

Again, had a pleasant stay. All staff, reception, breakfast and house keeping were friendly and helpful. Check in/out was quick with a final receipt given. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Room was clean and comfortable, except a little cold. I read other reviews about the curtains so took a moment to look. The main draw curtains we ok and clean....

Stayed here for a trip to Manchester's Christmas Markets and found it very convenient as a short bus ride took us into town. The Bus stops were only a short walk from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and quiet with everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was ok as it was included. Not sure I would have been happy...

My sister and I liked the look of this place online for a night away together. On arrival, we were shocked by the filthy carpets in the corridors and the twin room we were allocated. The room ,itself was very basic with twin rickety beds , paper thin pillows and duvet and a stained cushion on each bed. The lace...
