This is a very good Hostel, affordable and well located within the city center for tourists, with access to all other facilities that make traveling enjoyable. The facilities is ok especially for group of people.

1. Service was not great. We checked in at 3pm and stood waiting at the desk for 10 mins because apparently the 2 people there were swapping shifts, despite the fact that they were able to help other people and take phone calls etc. 2. Lockers were old, located quite a distance away from dorms, most were broken and upon...

There is an overweight lady in the front desk that apparently is the manager, and she is so rude I had a small problem with the webpage and she slammed the door on my face, the other stuff members are ok but this lady is just a disgrace for the hostel... She is only looking to rip off you... the...

The room we were staying in was a 10 bed room on the 4th floor. The decor and beds were shabby, there was no heating in the room, and it was also dirty in there too. There was like a million steps to get to our room as the lift was I guess for staff only. The bathroom was cold...

I stayed in room 201, 18-bed, without any heat! Staff were late to reopen after a 'cleaning' since Christmas break. The hostel was freezing. Water was luke-warm and timed for 10 seconds on a bathroom one floor above mine. Bar wasn't opened. Bed springs were coming through and some beds were not made after 'said cleaning.' Breakfast was cereal and...

This place is pretty bad, but it’s one of the only hostels in Manchester so you kinda just have to deal with it. The beds are horrible, it’s dirty, it’s loud, the wifi is shocking, the breakfast is basic and if you don’t get there early enough you miss out, and there are zero facilities beyond the basics. The atmosphere...

Hatter's Hostel in Manchester was the worst place I have ever spent I night in my life. Traveling as a student, hostels are quite a good deal if you traveling on a budget. This is at least what I thought before staying here. We stayed in an eight person room in bunk beds with only a single bathroom. I spent...

I stayed in Manchester for 5 days in April. The location of the hostel is very central, easy to reach from the main station. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, they recommend things to do and where to go to party.. breakfast was alright.. the building sure needs some renovations, not many bathrooms, had to go to a...
