We stayed last week whilst collecting our daughter from the university- this hotel is in the centre of the student campus at Fallowfield. The hotel and conference centre is based around a Victorian building, once the Chancellor's House, but has had several extensions added. This meant that the rooms were a long way from the bar and restaurant area, via...

Presumably a converted student accommodation, this offers reasonably priced accommodation close to the student area of Fallowfield. Rooms are Bijoux i !!, but clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. It is currently undergoing a face lift.

Came here for a conference, so the stay was free, therefore I cannot comment on value for money. Conference facilities were big, but very cold. All that was provided was water. The wifi was terrible. Nice little (but expensive) bar. Rooms are very varied: some have double beds and balconies, others just have a single bed. Mine only had a...

Stayed overnight at this hotrl when i was in the city to watch a football match. Did not spend too much time in the hotel but could figure out that it was pretty big and had lots of rooms spread all across. The room size was big and the same were clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and was...

Overnight stay after a concert in Manchester. Well lit and spacious corridors, small but clean rooms, fantastic breakfast in a lovely annex. Didn't experience dinner or have much of a look round the property. Perfect for an overnight stay but maybe too small for a longer stay. Enjoyed, thank you.

My second stay here. Very handy location to rest your head if you need to visit Manchester uni. Club sandwich and chips in the restaurant was delicious. Exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to coming back again once the renovations are complete. Staff are welcoming and helpful

It's having a 4 million upgrade in the next months but that's no excuse for the dirty rooms... Rooms have little space for child cot, pram storage. Not child friendly. We found nut shells on the floor which was not good for my 20 month year old toddler, general grubby standard of cleaning and when we left we found someone...

Stayed at the Chancellor whilst on a conference. No apologies from reception staff for building work and refurbishing of rooms taking place. So in the morning the noise of building work appeared to become the expected norm for 8.30am. My room was on the first floor. It was small,(compact) but compared to those on the ground floor it was luxury....
