Booked this hotel last minute to avoid late night drive back from a gig in Manchester. Lovely quiet, clean hotel. Room was very compact but bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was a typical buffet style affair but well cooked and a varied selection. Staff were all helpful and friendly.

Just checked out of this lovely hotel. Beautiful room, small but lovely. Towels, hairdryer, tea & coffee, tv. Breakfast was extra £8.95 and worth every penny, it was hot and presented lovely. Love all the little milk bottles for juice etc. I do think they need some pictures on the walls, this isn't a criticism just an observation. Will definitely...

Stayed here on Saturday 15th April as it was close to fallowfield/owenspark uni. campus. Was a shock to be asked for a £40 refundable deposit on arrival as this was not advertised when booking our reservation, it also takes 2-3 days to get refunded if no damage has been found to the room. Hotel has been refurbished but the price...

This used to be a really reasonably priced hotel. The price has crept up now for my last 3 visits. The hotel has had a fair amount of investment and all the rooms appear to be refurbished and done out well. Would recommend but the hotel needs to reconsider the pricing again.

We stayed for one night. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate, clean and very well appointed. The bathroom suite was very good. A current offer is a free breakfast for any local student with a valid ID card when parents are staying in the hotel. I would definitely stop...

Decent price of £13 for afternoon tea. Served with a variety of sandwiches, a selection of cakes and two pots of tea. Prompt service by friendly staff. Food served on the terace with lovely views of the gardens with blankets and throws to keep you warm on cooler summer days. Recently modernised, clean and fresh decor, well worth a visit!

This hotel has been refurbished and is a nice place for lunch or afternoon tea. I visited for lunch with a friend. The service was very good. We ordered club sandwiches which came with chips and were enormous. The lounge is very comfortable and on sunny days you can eat outside. At £12 for coffees and sandwiches I thought that...

Went to Chancellors today for lunch and had the Lounge Menu. The staff were extremely polite and attending and the service was great. Although quite a small menu, there was enough choice for the meat eaters. My only fault would be the severe lack of vegetarian options available. However, the food I choice was freshly cooked and delicious. Definitely great...
