Stayed here on Friday night. Booked it because it was nice and cheap and I just needed a place to crash for the night and it suited perfectly. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that there's a nightclub in the basement - it says so on nearly every review on here and on the hotel's website - so...

Just needed the room for 1 night to attend my cousins wedding. All easy enough. Single bed comfy, room quite clean and fresh. The water needed running in the shower for a while before warming up but worked after that. Booked the day before and for only £25. Served its purpose for me so can't say any fairer than that!...

I booked a room for one night in this hotel. It is difficult to find a good thing to say about this place. On arrival, we found that there was a disco in the basement. The thud reached up two floors, through the bed and a pillow into my ear until the early hours of the morning. The clientele of...

I stayed here for over a month, and for the price I have no complaints, the only thing I would say is when you book try to ensure you dont go for a standard cheaper room. These are above the night club which does not shut its music down until 3 in the morning. The smell in the corridors is...

stayed here for two nights whilst down to see the Stone Roses, and the Landsdowne served our needs perfectly. the only major downsides were that the "full english" breakfast was a bit small and the temperature of the water in the shower could be a bit unreliable. Overall though, perfectly suited our needs.

Don't stay here. This place doesn't even rate against backpacker hostels for students. Room bad, bathrooms worse, bar not enough for anything. if you have to stayin Manchester, sleep in your bag rather than here, you'll save money and be more comfortable. It's cheap for a reason.......it's not worth spending money on

Stayed there luckily only for one night due to work. Booked by work for myself and 11 colleagues. Rooms are smelly, damp and straight out of the 60's. Mine had a smell that I can only liken to wet dog lying on a wet floor. The carpet was wet through , the bathroom dirty and covered with old sticky back...

Found the hotel without problems, very welcoming staff. Stayed 3 nights, b and b, breakfast was excellent. Not too expensive either.
