Travelled from Germany to Manchester and stayed 4 nights at the Clydemount. I had a great stay. The facility was excellent with a clean spacious room and a comfortable bed and TV. Very quiet though its close to the main road. Local supermarkets, parks, bus stops, and 4 pubs are within reach (5 min walk). Bathrooms are shared but they...

Friendly helpful owners, Good, regular public transport links to the City centre, lots of food options with in walking distance. An Ideal, reasonably priced place to stay if you are working up Manchester.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here last night for the boxing and we're very happy with our stay. We had a very warm welcome and the 2 guys who own the place (can't remember names) were extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms were good, a little old fashioned but if you want 5 star luxury then pay 5 star prices....

The overwhelming sadness that came over me when myself and my friend needed a place to stay last minute and found this attractive looking place that turned into a damp cold room. The lady who came to serve us was only looking after the place, but she was kind and sweet and so adorable I could of hugged her but...

I am sorry that you could find the time, effort etc to post a review such as this without actually speaking to us. Did you do the same to the hotel that you stayed at the night before (that you told us was the worst place you'd ever stayed)?.

Lovely big, bright homely room. Comfy beds and quite quiet considering it was on a main road. Lovely huge bathroom and great shower. Kevin and his partner were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge, taxis, busses etc.

Me and my wife stayed for last minute night out in the northern quarter.we had wanted a city centre hotel, as that's what we normally go for. However, the xfactor was in town and the city centre hotels had doubled in price. I searched on the internet and found the clydemount at a very cheap £50 with an option of...

I just stayed at the Clydemount for one night, but I'd definitely recommend it ! My room was not in the "main" building", but a couple of houses down the road (as 2 others rooms, if I remember well). Easy to get to the city centre by bus, good breakfast, good sized room, quite old-fashioned but it's not an issue...

Visited the Clydemount recently when on business in Manchester. I like to give a balanced review so will go with the positive first. Very hospitable proprietor who carried my bags to my room. Nicely cooked breakfast. Nice to have off road parking. Very quiet, no noise from other guests or traffic. Now for the not so good. The room itself...

We take note of your comments, however at the time of your stay none of these points were mentioned, in fact you were very positive when we asked if everything was satisfactory during your stay, at time of checkout.
