Located 7 rue du 22 Novembre, 300 meters away from the Petite France quarter and only 200 meters away from the train station, BOMA, the new generation hotel is ideally situated. “Boma” is a concept, a place to live that we have created within the heart of the hotel. In Africa, a boma is an enclosure surrounded with wooden fences to protect the inhabitants and their animals from wild beasts. It’s a friendly place to meet around the fire to eat, dance and exchange ideas together… More than just a hotel, BOMA offers Restaurant, Bar, Shop, Fitness room and Meeting room. The hotel has 103 rooms over 6 floors, all plunged in an ethnic chic atmosphere. VOD on large 47” TV, Premium Wi-Fi, and mini-bar are free. At the heart of the hotel can be found the Restaurant. Open to all from 7am to midnight; have breakfast, work, lunch, have a snack or share some finger food with friends, taste a good wine, a local beer or a juice, or even enjoy a concert-evening…

in the heart of Strasbourg, Boma’s hotel is full of beautiful cleaned rooms with every accessories needed in case of emergency
the hotel staff is really welcoming and sweet.
the hotel’s restaurant is really fined and revisited with lots of gastronomic new ideas for a good quality/price.
the hotel is surrounded by christmas markets ,traditional restaurants, churches, lots of stores, cinemas, and other activities nearby which are accessed by walk by tram or by car
the whole mood of the christmas events is really here

This is a small hotel in the centre of Strasbourg. Our room was rather small, but it had a bathtub, a kettle and a fridge with free non-alcholic drinks. We were able to make ourselves at home. The staff were helpful, without being intrusive. The room was double glazed and noise from the street was minimal with the windows closed. Breakfast was fair, but with limited gluten free options

Visited for a short break over New Year. The hotel looks very new and is in a great location for visiting the city sights. There are also lots of great restaurants nearby. Furthermore, we were delighted with their response to an issue we had within the first 24hrs of our stay.

On our first night we were in a room overlooking the road which turned out to be the noisiest room we had ever slept in! Boy racers in their cars were driving round during the early hours and then the hotel’s dustbins were collected from under our window at 6am!

However, the lady on Reception was really professional and helpful when we requested a move to a different room. Without question or quibble, she took us to view a room overlooking an internal terrace, which was absolutely perfect. We swiftly moved our belongings and went on to enjoy a peaceful stay.

Well done Boma!

We spent one night in that quite new hotel. The room we got had a perfect view on to the cathedral. "Bathrooms" are small with just a shower and a sink integrated in the room itself. The beds are really one of the best we ever slept in.
Our recommendation: quit the breakfast and search for a good one outside the hotel.
Away from that: The hotel is perfectly located in the centre. The staff was nice and helpful! Merci!

We booked the Boma hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg due to its location, as it is right next to Petit France, within walking distance to everywhere in the oldtown, but also only a 8min walk to the train station. We never had to use any transports in the two days we stayed, the Cathedral and other landmarks were only a 10min walk.

However, we were also pleased with what we found as the hotel was new, modern but with character.
There was music in the halls and lift to set the atmosphere and the decor overall was urban modern but worked very well.

The room was not very big but had everything we needed for a short stay: a very comfy bed with memory foam pillows, which granted us a fantastic sleep at night; small desk with a kettle and a variety of coffee/tea; the minibar had water and soft drinks (and were free); there was a large tv on the wall with some media contents (films and music) which were also free for us to use; a safe where we could store our passports, etc during our stay; the bathroom had a good size with a large shower and the amenities were surprisingly good (which sometimes is compromised in smaller hotels).
Our room was facing a main street but the windows were double-glazed, so we barely could hear anything from the outside.

In the lower ground floor there's a (large) luggage room with large lockers for the guests to use, self-service and free. Since we arrived at Strasbourg in the morning we used it, as check-in is only at 3pm; then used it again after checking out, for a few hours, to explore a bit more of the old town before we took the train to Paris.

Breakfast was was fairly good. Mainly continental but there were also scrambled eggs and bacon.

There is a supermarket 20 metres away from the hotel, which was quite convenient in case we needed to buy anything during our stay. There is also a french bakery / patisserie just across the road. A lot of other coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc just nearby.

The staff was friendly, provided all the information we needed for a great stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to visit Strasbourg, as it's perfectly located and has everything that you'll need to explore the old town.

We stayed at BOMA for 3 days leading up to Christmas. The hotel is an easy 8 minutes walk from the train station and then 8-10 minutes walk from the cathedral. Perfect location. Rooms were clean and nicely designed. Staff were friendly and professional.
The ONLY thing we wish we had been told..that we would not be able to use the resteruant or bar on Christmas Eve. Came back from a long day of walking hungry and thirsty, only to find out that it was booked for a private function…and nowhere else around the hotel was open for food…it would have been better if the management team had communicated that ahead of time as we would have researched and booked somewhere else..other than that - great stay.

Location is great. Rooms are small but newly furnished and clean. There is a bit of noise problem between rooms but not a big issue. They have only 5 parking space so do not fall for “parking space is available upon request”

Dear Guest ronsplanet, First of all, we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience at BOMA. We are truly sorry to hear that you met some issus during your stay. Regarding parking places, we offer few parking spots in the building near us. When thoses are taken we have as well partnerships with several publics parkings in the city center of Strasbourg where you can have discounts and better deals. The nearest one is at 150 m away from our hotel. Despite this problem and the noise issue, we sincerely hope that you spend an amazing time at BOMA and in our beautiful city. We will be pleased to welcome you another time at BOMA, Sincerely Sabine Bruxer

My sister and I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. It is very clean, modern, and well located. It's close to the train station and Petite France. Our room was very quiet although it is facing the busy streets with restaurants and shops outside. The AC in the room and hot water in the shower work really well. A kettle with cups, tea bags, coffee packets, and creamer are provided in our room. This is great as we could enjoy a cup of hot tea in our room after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel staffs are professional and friendly.

From start to finish it was a really good experience. One of the most user friendly hotels that care about the customer experience a lot. Front desk staff was really positive, always smiling and always helpful. Interiors was also impressive. Would totally recommend it also due to its location. 8mins walk (with luggages) to train station and literally in the middle of everything in Strasbourg which we couldn’t have asked for better.

Good city hotel, conveniently placed in the old city, not too far from the station.
Our room was on the fifth floor and we’d booked a larger room. Nice and light . The bedroom area had a clothes rail, large tv and safe. Nice comfy bed. The additional space had a single sofa bed, a large tv, desk and chair plus a kettle. Full bathroom with bath and shower.
The room was spotlessly clean.
One thing that let the room down was a lack of coat hooks and an additional comfortable chair. When the days are short you spend more time in your room and want a comfortable chair. Also, if the weather is wet, it is not healthy to have to hang coats in the bedroom area and there is plenty of space for hooks in the outer vestibule.
We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food. A pleasant bar area for coffee or a drink.
Strasbourg is a beautiful city and the hotel is well placed for exploring. Easy to return to the hotel for a rest during the day if needed.
Immediately opposite the hotel is an amazing patisserie. We had breakfast there every morning. Fresh fruit with yoghurt and a huge range of croissants and pastries.
Would definitely stay here again if in Strasbourg
