TIPS - [x] Only coins accepted in the tram machine. No bills and credit card accepted. - [x] No need to buy the three day ticket. Single ticket will do. Upon arrival at the hotel everything is within walking distance. - [x] Escalators in the tram entrance outside train station are not open. You must take the elevator within the train station to level -4. - [x] Alight after two stops to Homme de Fer. The station is right across towards Plaza Kleber. See photo. - [x] Everything closed on Sundays and holidays, even groceries. - [x] Lovin’ the chinese restaurang Sichuan and Lamian two minutes from the hotel. ROOM Deluxe Queen Studio PROS * Central - two stops tram A, C, D to Home de Ferre (the ticket machine only accepts coins and credit card, no bills) * Nice, patient, helpful and responsive, receptionist Noha and Virginie * Has small elevator * Clean * Old building - has its own charm * Spacious bathroom and toilet CONS * Small and oddly shaped apartment, booking.com says 51sqm, i have doubts * One bedroom meant no partitions * Yellow blinding lights; Violet motel feel lights; Not enough lights * No formal reception area * Old building - 1-3 flight of stairs in certain areas * When the sofa bed is converted to bed, there is no space to put the center table * Wooden pillars are oddly placed, so are other furniture pieces * Screeching floors * When watching videos the internet connection gets cut * Only one bathroom and toilet * No washing machine * Elevator gives giant drop feels * We didn’t find any floor towel * Shower temp is hard to mix

When I checked in, It was great. Nice location, wide room size, plaza view. and It looked clean before it came. A bug was next to my pillow after sun set (9:00 pm) I drove away insects first. and we woke up at 12:30 am. when I turned on the light, It was shocking... but it was not a bug ...one...two...three...four... and it's bedbug.....OMG they cames out under the pillow, mattress. I tried to kill every bugs... but I couldn't be sure how many bed bug was under the mattress... So I decided to escape this hotel... because they didn't operate 24hour front-desk system. I called taxi at 1:30 am, and I checked in another hotel. next day, I went to the hotel again and complained. they said "okay. we will refund you" but I don't still get refund yet for 1 month. I sent 3 emails to them and I called booking.com twice. if you want to stay this hotel, you should check your bed after sunset ^^

The host Virginie is so helpful, she answered many questions before our arrival , and upon arrival, she came to help us locate the parking entry and guided us to the parking spot, even though we were a little later than planned due to getting a little lost. We had 2 deluxe suites and they were stunning inside and overlooked the square and Cathedral in the background, with large french door / windows. Air conditioning worked perfectly and was much needed, We received the door codes before arrival, and was nice not to have to worry about losing a key, The apartments are really central and close to shopping, restaurants, cafe's, bars and Petite Paris. Parking is under the apartment block and so close / secure - which is perfect if you are carrying motorcycle luggage / helmets etc.

The place can't be located better for tourists wanting to explore the heart and history of the city. The walls of the rooms are older than any world wide wars... The kitchenet was perfect to have freshly baked and purchased croissants for those who were just waking up. Loved it, even if it is on a pricy side.

I booked the accommodation the last minute when we decided to stop in Strasbourg on our travel across Europe. It has a fantastic location in the middle of the city, easy and safe parking in the garage underneath for a reasonable price. The staff was very helpful, speak English very well and were exceptionally welcoming. The apartment was spacious, clean, nicely furnished , the bed had a very comfortable mattress. I liked my Nespresso coffee in the morning. I definitely recommend this place to stay.

We never got to stay at this property, We are in the unfortunate position that we live in South Africa and that that 40 countries and the EU banned us from flying basically overnight. I cancelled my stay 5 days before arrival due to this, but Place Kleber is unwilling to refund even a potion of the money or even rebook us . They say the rule is 7 days before our visit for refunding and they are sticking to it. These are very special circumstances. I would have expected and hope for a different attitude from them.

Few and exclusive rooms only, beautifully decorated in the heart of Strassbourg at Place Kléber. Virginie and Olivier are wonderful hosts that make your stay very comfortable. Parking on site if you come by car, otherwise train and tram very near. It feels you have your own apartment in this bijou city.

We stayed for 2 nights as a group of three adults in a suite room, using the fold-out sofa. Pros: - Veronique was very responsive, professional and amazingly attentive - Secure parking under Kleber Square. It‘s a bit pricey compared to other places but for the convenience of being right in the middle of the city, we felt it was worth it. You will need to contact the hotel directly to reserve a spot and get access instructions - Super fast wireless internet - Small kitchenette with coffee and tea facilities - Spacious bathroom with all amenities you‘d need - We all slept very well; comfortable bed and sofa-bed - There is a lift (yes it may be small but that‘s what you get in old historical buildings) - Easy walking distance to the main sights, cafes and restaurants Cons: - No work desk in the room (if you plan to do some work, it‘ll be hard to) - No breakfast (but there are great cafes within walking distance) Thank you Veronique for a wonderful stay!

Our family, 2 adults and 2 kids, travelled to Strasbourg. We checked out a previous hotel and decided last minute to stay another night in Strasbourg. We booked a room at the Life Cathedral hotel, but we got a call right after booking telling us they upgraded us for free to a bigger room and moved us jere to Life Renaissance New Concept. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They met us at the parking garage so we could get discounted parking and then they walked us up to our room. They apartment was fantastic! Plenty of room for our family. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed in a deluxe Queen suite for two nights. The check in was very smooth and easy. The hosts were very helpful. The room was big and the Kitchen was well equipped. The sofa turns into an extra bed. The room heating was good as well. The room we stayed faced directly to the Kleber square. We enjoyed cooking dinner in our Kitchen. The hotel is near the Strasbourg main station.. just 10 minutes walk.. there is also a tram stop within a minutes walk. The hotel is well placed and it fullfilled our expetations.
