After discovering the great location of the hotel, and recieving a warm welcome, I really wanted to like this hotel, and to come back and write a positive review. After a few days though, this was sadly made clear to me that this would not be the case. First the positives: The hotel is in a central location and within...

I stayed one night at the Hannong en-route to the wine route in this central three star hotel. There is nothing to object to. The room was on the small side and a little dated but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is excellent. Above all this hotel is very good value if...

I recently returned from spending a long weekend at the Hotel Hannong and was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was an easy 5-10 minute walk from the train station (easy to find too) and another easy walk to the main attractions in town. My single room was clean and comfortable and not too cramped -- I was very...

I stayed for three nights during a sightseeing visit. The hotel is charming, historic, and very clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff is friendly and fluent in English. The hotel is right in the middle of the tourist areas, and very convenient for everything I wanted to see. It is about 6 good blocks from the train station, too...

I haven't been to Strasbourg for 20 years, but I had remembered it as one of my favorite spots in Europe. I looked forward to sharing it with my wife after a busy week of travel. At first the hotel put us on the top floor of the second building. It was clean, but quite spare and up a long...

My husband and I stayed here for the long President's Day weekend. We chose this hotel for its location and because of the reviews that we read both here and at the website that we used to book the room. We didn't have any trouble finding the hotel (thanks be to TomTom) and the parking deck that the hotel uses...

We stayed at Hotel Hannong for 4 nights in mid December. It's location was perfect, had a great place for breakfast right next door. It was very clean, and the cleaning staff were ready to go as soon as we left our room. Reception were friendly and helpful and there is free internet in the foyer. Our room was quite...

The Hotel Hannong exceeded my expectations. Close to the center of the city, the hotel is within walking distance of the central tram station, the Gare de Strasbourg, Petit France and Cathedral Square. The staff was professional, friendly, attentive but not intrusive and bi-lingual. Although small by American standards, the rooms were pleasant, very clean and extremely quiet!

We rang over 20 hotels in Strasbourg 8 weeks before our stay during the Marche de Noel season--everything was booked, so we were more than happy to learn that we found a place to stay! Although it cost more than what we usually pay (we usually do not pay more than 80 Euros for a two-star hotel), the rooms were...

We had chosen this hotel after reading the reviews and checking its location in the town of Strasbourg. It was a really good choice and worth the price. The room was quite tiny with a small bed, however I do not tend to stay in the room while outside there is a city to be looked at. Everything was tidy...
