I am very impressed by the quality of service, location, and price. The recipient is so professional, kind, and friendly. The most important point is that staff can speak english .
Cozy and so clean. 20-minute walk from main train station Highly recommended.

The rooms are really cozy and beautifully furnished and they are VERY well cleaned. There are however a few (little) things you do not expect from a 4 stars hotel: for once, our two rooms did not have a proper shower. We had in fact two rooms on the last floor, just beneath the roofs and they had only a bathtub in which you must sit in order to be able to use the shower...it is ok for younger people but for elder people who expect the confort of a four stars hotel it can be a bit unconfortable. I do not know if all rooms are the same though. What I did missed was a little fridge to store some of the food we bought (not such a terrible thing, but something you do expect in a 4 stars hotel).
The whole staff is extremely kind and always ready to help. In the evening, though, there is only one single person who needs to both hold the reception, take care of the bar and of any potential customers who wish to eat something small. It sometimes seemed like too much work for one person alone. Lastly, the hotel is certainly not located any close to the city centre. Walking fast you indeed can reach the cathedral in about 15 minutes but the area of the hotel is clearly a suburban area and the road that gets to the centre can appear quite long to elderly people.

Small hotel 15 mins walk from the town old centre. Public transport nearby. Good restaurants nearby from gourmet to pizza, and pub meals. Rooms are clean and well appointed though the standard rooms are small- having said this, in France this is often the case.. I recommend the Superior category, unless you are going to be out all day, in which case all the rooms are comfortable and quiet. A small room-service menu is available for when you are too tired to go out. All in all a good experience.

We stayed in villa d'est for one night, our room was small but recently renovated and very nicely decorated. We also thought the breakfast was fantastic, and the terrace outside very enjoyable for a drink in the evening. Another positive aspect was that even though the hotel has got no parking, it is very easy to park the car in the surrounding streets. The only (minor) negative point was linked to the lift and the stairs: there is only one lift and it can be very long before it reaches your floor, thus we were tempted to use the stairs but we did it only once as they are really steep and not very clean => far from the rest of the hotel's standards. Anyway, all in all we were happy with our stay and will come back again.

This is one of the most disgusting hotels I have stayed at in a long long time. The room was minuscule. The carpet so dirty that I did not remove my shoes throughout my stay. The bathroom was decent but did have spots of mold growing behind the sink. While the air-condition did work it was extremely loud and made the room very very humid, which suboptimal for ladies hairdos to say the least. Moreover the bed was tiny i think it must have been specially made for this tiny room. There was no space to even open my hand luggage properly, so if you have a normal sized suitcase you may have to leave it in the hallway. Now to the location; the hotel is located at the very edge of town next to a major road. Across the street there is an abandoned building frequented by drug addicts and vandals alike. Lets just say I would not recommend women travelling alone staying in this area. Overall very disappointing stay, from what I can the positive reviews on trip advisor may point to vast differences in room quality at this hotel so beware.

We booked this hotel as a point to explore some nearby cemeteries and attend the Christmas market in Strasbourg. This hotel was close to a park so great for walking our dogs. The staff had a dog bed and bowls set up in the room upon our arrival which was a very nice touch. The markets were about a 10 minute walk and we were close to the motorway for our daytime journeys. The breakfast was good but somewhat expensive at 14€ per person. Rooms clean and comfortable. Yes they are small but we were only there to sleep. Parking is around the corner in a large garage and cost 13€ per day.

I had no room at my usual Hotel because I was there just in the middle in the European Parliament session. I booked a room there, the only still available in Strasbourg! What a mistake!

Small room, very noisy, bulky location, no nice people etc... I mean, give a 50% discount on your hotel room prices and I would find it ok, but how do you dare having such prices for that quality??

Now I am back in my usual hotel... :-)

Lovely place to stay- away from the touristy are of the Petite France, yet only a fifteen minute walk there. Quite a few nice restaurants in the area with mainly locals who go there - not your usual tourist traps. The hotel is small, with a slightly oldfshioned air about it - none of your hyper-modern dark corridors and minimalist design. Friendly, smiling service. It feels a bit like coming home. There’s also a smlall spa and if you let them know in time they’ll switch the sauna on for you. Twenty minutes is all it takes. Breakfast is varied, with your usual bacon and scrambled eggs, then hard boiled eggs, small selection of cheeses and cold cuts, fruit, seeds, muesli, juices, breads and pancakes.
