We stayed 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 children- we were all in one room and the fold out couch was made up as a bed when we arrived. It was a bit tight to navigate around the room when set up this way but we appreciated the small entry room with hanging space to store our suitcases. The bathroom was very modern and spacious and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the eco friendly touches. We arrived by train so the location was extremely convenient and it was not too far to walk to Petite France or the Christmas markets. The staff on the front desk always greeted us with a smile and were very helpful.

Hotel's Favourite
First, the location is excellent for those coming in on the train. Truly, it can't take more than 3 minutes from door to door. Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Very nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. A/C. Luggage hold for those arriving before check-in or having to check out before it's time to catch the train. Quick and easy! Bike rental available on site and had we had more time, we would have taken advantage. Cons: Room is pretty small and it is dark, so you won't really want to hang out there except to sleep and shower. It does have everything you need, though, from full-length mirror, hangers, and a kettle for instant coffee and teas and a hair dryer.

Lovely friendly staff, so close to the train station and really central to restaurants and shops. We stayed here for one night to visit the Strasbourg Christmas markets. The room was very clean and the bathroom was luxurious. The ethos of the hotel is visible throughout which is lovely to see. Would definitely visit again.

We had a great experience at the Hotel Tandem. It was super close to the train station (directly across) and a flat and easy 20min walk to the cathedral where the Christmas markets were. We were glad we had chosen a hotel outside the main centre (where the markets are) because it was blocked off to cars a lot of the time due to security for the markets. The hotel itself was super clean and beautiful with very comfy beds and a large room. The bathroom was very spacious but also very cold as it had a window to the courtyard. The heated towel rack was a win! All in all - an awesome stay.

I stayed at Hotel Tandem for a weekend getaway to enjoy the Christmas markets. The hotel has a great location just outside the train station and within a 10 minute walking distance to the center of town where all the Christmas action was located. I really enjoyed this hotel! It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee very good. In the evening, the young man working the bar was very nice and happy to chat with you about your day as you had a night cap before bed. If I go back to Strasbourg I would not hesitate staying here again!

Strasboug is rather expensive for overnights, so this option of a recently-renovated hotel right by the train station is quite handy. My room was small, but well designed to maximise the space available, although the décor is dark. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and local/sustainable food ethos was good. For me, the location was everything as I was arriving and departing by train and could walk easily to the pretty Petite France neighbourhood.

A really nice boutique hotel close to the train station. A steady 15 minute stroll to the middle of the city and there were good bus and tram connections from the station. The room was very clean and whilst compact, had luxury toiletries. The breakfast was superb with a wide selection of savoury and sweet items using locally sourced produce. The staff were very welcoming - especially the lady at breakfast - and all members of staff spoke good English. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Strasbourg.

This was an excellent hotel stay. It is very close to the train station and also well located to the old town of Strasbourg - everything is within walking distance. There are bike rentals (with helmets) on site for hotel guests and the bikes were good quality to ride long distances exploring outside of Strasbourg. The hotel breakfast had baked goods that were made onsite, as well as meat, cheese, eggs, fruit and yogurt. Based on a pre-stay survey, the hotel provided restaurant recommendations - many of which we visited and were pleased with the food/atmosphere. I also appreciated the efforts to conserve energy and be eco friendly. I would happily stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay. The decor, features and rooms are modern, quirky and interesting. The staff are young, enthusiastic and very helpful (even Douglas and Pippa, the rescue budgerigars, add to the atmosphere - it is nice to hear live birdsong - though they are very chirpy). Breakfast was a varied buffet with loads of choice. And it’s usp is to be kinder to the planet than traditional hotels and it looks like it is succeeding. The location in the railway station area is close to some nice restaurants and a fairly easy walk into the tourist areas. Very high on the list of our favourite hotels.

It’s just opposite the train station. Really close. Hotel is modern. Quite clean. Service was good. Room is a bit small but overall Europe is like that. everything was promoted as environmentally friendly. breakfast was promoted as organic and home made as well as environmentally friendly. So only one plate was provided which I found not good enough. I had to put bread on already used plate. I stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was exactly the same every day so towards the end it became boring.
