It was so close to the bed & tiny hallway & had a large step up to enter..toilet was never flushed or cleaned, sink surface was dirty, bed was hard, bad pillows, shower was an open round tiny chamber with a shower curtain that fell off...

We booked at Hotel Le Grillon at short notice for a one-night getaway. Following our SAT NAV, kept missing turns and doubling back and forth. After 30 minutes and four or five passes, we parked at the train station and struck out on foot. If there had been info on a website that Hotel Le Grillon is in a pedestrian...

We were swiftly checked in. The hotel has Good location close to train station and the local attraction. The staff at reception is so knowledgeable about the area and suggested us a good route! That was appreciated. Room was clean and comfy. Bathroom well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was an unexpected driving adventure from Paris since the trains were on strike when we were there. Took longer than we anticipate, but such beautiful country side through Alsace wine country. Strasbourg was much friendlier than Paris and very beautiful. Lots of young people in the University, beautiful Abbys, and interesting wine caves under the hospital. The shopping promenade...

I had a budget room on one of the top floors. The hallway had beams that were so low that you would hit you would hit your head if you are over 5ft. 9in. tall, so that was a little annoying. There was also a wall in the room that sloped in that I also banged my head on, but...

I stayed at le Grillon 3 nights due to a conference I had in Strasbourg, I wanted something not very expensive (which is the case), close to the train station (also right). I got a room in the second floor, ok size, spartan but ok, just a bottle of liquid soap for everything in the wall, ok clean, good amount...

Funny little place! This must be the smallest hotel bedroom I have ever had. Double bed pushed up against the wall. Not very user friendly for a sixty + male who needs up during the night! On the plus side room and en suite were spotless. Friendly bar, and barman/receptionist.

Due to changing airline schedules, we had an unexpected stop in Strasbourg. The lady at the tourist office in the rail station suggested and then checked on the Le Grillon, as they had one of the last available rooms in town (something to due to a monthly EU meeting). We ended up with a large room on the top floor...

Recently renovated. The rooms are basic but has everything you need. Clean with comfy beds and a good shower. My two friend and I spent £50 each to stay for three nights. I had my reservations as I normally holiday in 4*+ hotels. The hotel is less than a 10 minute train ride from the airport and less than 10...

Hotel very good situated near central train station, not far from centre of town. No parking available, so it is necessary to let car in parking house about 10 minutes away. Room, bathroom clean, staff pleasant, breakfast tasty. The only (but big) problem was that our room was just above the hotel´s reastaurant/cafe with outer terrace. Too noisy customers revel...
