Im from Portugal and I’ve tried to call the hotel to make a reservation because I had a few questions. The person who picked the phone answered me with: “no I don’t speak in English, wait a moment”, and it was 30min waiting. After that time I end the call, and tried once again, she saw it was me and got me straight to the holding line over and over again. So if you don’t speak French, don’t try to call, and I can’t imagine in person. Terrible service.

Tired, jaded, but comfortable clean bed with white linen and reasonably quiet. Needed dog friendly place, but didn't realize you had to pay 18 euros a night. Too far from airport to be convenient, No plug in bath, no shower curtain, impossible to have shower standing up .not good for elderly me. mid-day checkout good. Don't expect the ritz at this price but adequate for one night.

We stayed here for a week. The rooms were never cleaned. The staff refused to supply our room with toilet paper and we had to buy our own. The carpet was filthy. The place stank of urine. At night it fills up with truckers and workmen. Not a place for children.

One star only and that is for friendly greeting and helpful check in/out from reception staff. The hotel looks like an abandoned warehouse from outside. Entrance path is cracked and unkempt. The room was filthy and run down and very dirty. Hair everywhere, carpets stained and scuffed, marked walls and curtains. The whole building and hallways smelt like old chicken fat and grease. The bathroom was cracked and mouldy. Mosquitoes everywhere. So called 'fitness centre' has three very old machines in a tiny room The hotel itself is 1.2 hours via TWO Seperate buses + walk from Bordeaux st jean station in an area that was deserted and very industrial. As a solo female traveller I felt VERY unsafe for the whole duration of my stay and forked out for an uber to avoid walking in this area in the afternoon/evening. See photos if you need further reassurance but my recommendation would be to avoid at all costs.

First of all the staff are really nice. Friendly, accommodating and helpful. They know the area very well and will offer advice on places to visit and where to eat. It cost €35 from the airport to the hotel which is located on a commercial estate just outside the city. Closest tram is about ten minutes walk which is then an additional 20 minutes to Jardin Public the edge of what I’d call Bordeaux centre. The beds are comfortable and well maintained except the pull out which had seen better days and needed some WD40, good but very noisy sleep. Kitchenette was basic but it’s what you expect. Microwave. Coffee machine fridge etc and a miss-match if crockery and glassware. Walk to the local supermarket will take you 30 minutes but it’s a beautiful walk along the lakes. Do stay here, we never encountered any of the bad points, noise etc mentioned in previous reviews.
