A front desk guy was too unfriendly and hostile. It seemed he doesn’t like Latin American people. During the Christmas Eve he insulted some of us in the meantime we celebrated, instead he turned off the lights. Some waiters and waitresses were laughing because of the Latino accent. We felt disrespected and discriminated with that! The hotel staff must show respect for their guests no matter their come from.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and modern. Right beside a tram stop and a lake. Very convenient to get to Bordeaux city centre and it is not expensive compared to the hotels in the centre. There is a lovely gym. The breakfast is delicious, you can cook your own eggs and there is plenty of variety. There is also a little children's play area. The only bad thing was the pull out bed in the room was quite uncomfortable but everything else was perfect, would definitely recommend for a holiday or a business trip alike.

While the hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful it was just not suitable for a first holiday visit to Bordeaux. What the description tells you is what is close to the hotel but it makes no mention of the fact that it is a good 15 minute tram ride to the city centre. Misrepresentation by omission! It is quite obvious that the hotel was/is intended to be nothing more than a business or convention hotel. For anyone staying more than one night, the wardrobe space is miniscule and there is a total absence of drawers in which to place one's clothes. For a four-star, double-room only one chair was provided. I am at a loss to understand how this hotel was ever given a four-star rating. The coffee making facilities were limited with only paper cups being provided.

Room Tip: Avoid the side that overlooks the heating and ventilation duct-work which runs all night.

Breakfast is served till 9:30 during the week and until 11:00 on weekends. Air-condition in the room was just a ventilation. Avoid rooms with windows to the restaurant: loud parties can be held till midnight and even later. 20 minutes to Bordeaux city centre by tram, which stop is just a short walk away from the hotel.

This hotel is completely outside the city, but just outside the conference center. So quite good if you need to go there, otherwise you will need at least 30 minutes by tram (direct) to reach Bordeaux. There is absolutely nothing around it. The rooms are old, dusty and dirty, and would not stay there for more than a night if needed. Entire wings are served by a small elevator, and when big tourist buses arrive I have seen queues up to the parking lot to use them. The restaurant was quite good, despite those working there not being really friendly. So in the end I would suggest only if you get a really low price or need to be one day at the conference.
