We had booked for 2 Night a Standard twin Room which was basically scarcely furnished with early IKEA. The beds even for a twin were very narrow and uncomfortable. The bathroom somewhat outdated and you are provided with 2 bath-towels (really don't qualify), no hand-towels or washcloth. Wi-Fi is available but not very good and electrical outlets, only a few....

Heading for Souther Spain from St Malo an easy and ideal stop over for first night or a day or two to visit Bordeaux. Next door to Ibis Budget Hotel on lakeside. Room was on second floor with view across small lake. Trams to City ran close by but no noise in the room. Secure car park. Room very clean...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was clean, and the staff were friendly. It is quite a convenient location as it is close to the tram, with a 25 min trip downtown. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

This hotel is good value but that is about all you can say. Rooms are minimalist, towels are terrible, beds are ok-ish, no carpet, decoration is extremely tired. It was relatively clean. I probably won't be back.

In a nutshell, this is a very good hotel for last minute stays. The staff is very friendly, prices are reasonable (and tend to vary depending which night of the week you are checking in). Nothing fancy about the rooms, but all that is needed is there, including comfortable beds, good showers, WIFI, etc. One major plus for early birds...

Very welcoming and friendly staff. This is the second time we have stayed here on our way to Spain and would definitely stay here again and again and again. Location was great for getting into centre of Bordeaux via local transport.

Ibis tends to vary in quality but this is one of their better hotels with regards to cleanliness, modernity and space. It's also in a nice location next to a peaceful lake and we had a good view from the bedroom window. However the whole stay was tarnished as like other reviewers, we booked a non smoking room, though we're...

We came into Bordeaux last minute and after staying in other Ibis hotels throughout France, we decided to walk in the front door and hope they had a room available. Luck was on our side because they did have a room, plus gated parking! They have a good breakfast option (though you have to pay extra for it) but the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Sadly we didn't get to eat in the restaurant as it was busy and as we had driven from Spain, we were very hungry so we ate in the restaurant next door. Great location close to the motorway but far enough for it to be quiet and close to a lake and s tram...
