My wife and I spent 2 nights here at the end end of September. It was our first trip to Bordeaux so we checked Trip Advisor (as usual!) to find the best place to stay. The owner, Fabrice, is delightful. Very pleasant and helpful with lots of useful information about where to go and how to get there. L'Invitation is...

Very well maintained boutique hotel close to the old town in a small street, with very personal and nice management. We had a room facing the street with high ceiling, little balcony, and great decor. Simple but tasty breakfast. Changing the booking was easy.

The quiet little street it's in, amid a variety of little restaurants, may not be among the most grand in Bordeaux but this little hotel is a very nice place indeed at which to stay. A stylish building inside, L'Invitation Au Voyage is located near the Musee d'Aquitaine, just one tram stop from the cathedral, offering comfortable, traditional rooms. The...

Francois is a terrific host, recommends restaurants and activities. The breakfast provided is fresh bread, croissants and a range of jams. The rooms are clean and well presented as well as spacious. We arrived late at night and Francois arranged for us to get into the room via email. Very reasonably priced. The wifi is problematic but this is a...

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. We notified the owner that we would be arriving early and he kindly gave us the code of the front door, so that we could let ourselves in and leave our bags. Fabrice is a great host and gave us lots of tips about where to eat and what to...

Fabrice runs a wonderful boutique in a charming part of Bordeaux. The room was very stylishly decorated and it has the feel of an old world boarding house. lovely host and great location. we would definitely return. Very close to a tram stop.

We spent a couple of nights in this beautiful, fully restored merchant house which serves as a great boutique hotel. As it was a few days before xmas the place was quiet so Fabrice (the owner) upgraded us to one of his suites which was fabulous. Fabrice provides the personal touch, lovely breakfast, great service and very knowledgeable about Bordeaux...

We had a junior suite on the second floor, great room, spacious with facilities for basic catering (including a dishwasher !). Fabrice is a very nice host that makes you feel welcome and is more than happy to give advice about the city. Great breakfast, if they have it, try the home-made fig jam. Close to the tram station at...

Special place, ancient dwelling completely restaured. Location is ok but not ideal, street is deserted with a sexy shop nearby. Room was special, very small, probably perfect for a small queen size bed, ancient furniture and spectacular wooden floor. The only window, though huge, is giving on the inner roofed courtyard so no fresh air and no direct light. Bathroom...
