The best thing about 22Bordeaux is not the excellent breakfast, the pastel themed pool and chairs in the backyard or the huge lovely guest rooms upstairs; the best here is the hosts recommendations. They knew all the best places from restaurants in town to lunch...More
22 Bordeaux is on of those Chambres d'Hôtes one dreams about finding: it's located within walking distance of many of Bordeaux's sights, is filled with charm and is run by a warm and friendly hôtesse, Myriam. The building is a beautifully restored former family home,...More
Fabulous: accommodation, host, breakfast with homemade goodies, situation to the centre and fabulous advise on where to eat. Cycling around the city was great fun as was the ride on the tram. Highly recommended. We will go again.
Amazing place to stay within very short walking distance of city centre. Miriam and her mother made me feel very welcome . Breakfast included home made breads as well as a good mix on continental fare. Rooms are large and decorated to very high standard...More
An excellent B&B with a pool. Bordeaux is a really nice city and easy to get about, generally on the level and lots to see.

We landed at Merignac, which is closer to Bordeaux and took the regular bus service, which took us near the B&B. I assume there is a public bus line connecting Bergerac to Bordeaux as well: if you intend to keep in Bordeaux, do not rent a car and visit on foot. If you plan to visit vineyards around, a rented car is a good option.
