The hotel is in a good location, the staff helpful, the rooms large and well appointed, Overall, represents good value for money. The river front and many interesting areas are all within a few minutes’ walk of the hotel. Other reviews have mentioned the lack of a lift (we also found the staff were very happy to help). I feel...

Clean hotel with friendly staff and quirky, individialized small rooms right in the pedestrian center city near Grand Theatre. Like any hotel the area, it is going to suffer from noise, since in any given night revelers on the area make some serious racket until all hours. Breakfast is typical French, a piece baguette, a pastry, and a croissant with...

I stayed here this weekend, i was part of the Marathon Du Medoc. Its is just perfectly located in the heart of the old town. Beautiful buildings, a Stone throw from the Opera De National, and the Grand Hotel where you will pay another zero on your night stay... I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel

Although I do agree with all reviewers that employees at that hotel are extremely nice and helpful, I found the hotel rooms to be noisy as they are all on to the streets, where cafes are found below. There are no air conditioning which is not a big deal since we got there after the 4 day canicule. But I...

I enjoyed this lovely small hotel. The location is fabulous with quick access to the theatre, shopping, public transportation and the tourist office. The staff are friendly & accommodating. The continental breakfast is included the rooms are very clean & the bed quite comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for an affordable stay in the wonderful city of Bordeaux.

This is a fab little hotel in a great location, right in the heart of the city near to the Grand Theatre and rue Ste Catherine, the main shopping area in Bordeaux. The staff are friendly and our room was very clean. Each room is designed in a different, fun, style. Will stay here again!

Better to make sure your room windows do not face the street as it may be a little loud for you at night. Nice, clean rooms, no elevator, so might be difficult with heavy luggage as stairs are french like small and not very wide.

Direct at the beginning of the main shopping street and close to the nightlife places - also means, if you would like to go out it's perfect, if you prefer silence at night watch out for a Chatau outside of Bordeaux...direkt nach dem "Eingang" zur Fussgängerzone und am Herzen der Altstadt mit grossartigen Bars und Restaurants. Natürlich ist hier die...

A lovely 2 star hotel with nice modern themed rooms, which are very reasonably priced. Plus you can't beat the location off Rue St Catherine...easy walking distance to tram stops, restaurants, shops & sites. This is the second time I've stayed here and I'd definitely recommend it. The staff are friendly and speak English.

Located near the Opera House and just off the bustling Rue St Catherine, this hotel is in the very heart of the historic quarters of Bordeaux. Hotel staff (front desk is manned 24 * 7) were conversant in English and very friendly and attentive. The hotel seems recently refurbished, so looks and feels new - we had Room 222 (Indian...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Right in the middle of Bordeaux (near the Grand Theatre and street Sainte Catherine) is situated a small hotel which will surprise you for sure with its 23 differently and originally decorated rooms ... Among them Hawaii, Africa, Namaste, you will also discover the Beach or the Pink room!" This hotel has been took over and completely transformed by a couple of 'travellers' into a fanciful and welcoming place to sleep in, in which you will find books in your room, a free wifi access, a cyber computer at your disposal ... Soon enough, it became a must-go hotel for some artists, writers and 'travellers'. Pay attention: you can hear there is a casting taking place at the Grand Theatre. The hotel's stairs is filled with strings and brasses' sounds while voices warm up. It may be a baroque concert ... A place, a welcome, some books, some photos, some sounds, some characters ... A travel moment." (Shhh) ... more   less

“Maybe ask for a room off the street if you are a light sleeper. Bordeaux is quite lively at night. If mobility is an issue, ask for a room on the first floor as I don't believe there is an elevator.”

“As all rooms have a different theme its really your luck. I would go onto the Hotel's sight and choose the theme you like and book with them directly so u have what you want.”
