This B&B is located around 30 min from Bergerac.
It was located in very quite area.
The hotel itself has classic ambiance of village and it brought some warmth to people staying there.
The breakfast is just fantastic and I can see it is very fresh and some of them are actually home made material and very healthy.
The B&B owner is very warm and helpful indeed.
Definitely it is a fantastic and homey place to stay with family during Dordogne trip.

The Ostal de Pombonne feels like home and I loved staying there. This was our first visit to Bergerac area. From the moment you "access the grounds", you feel the graciousness of Dordogne hospitality. Our room was on the main floor. It was extremely well appointed with everything we would need. Highly recommend Ostal if you are heading to Bergerac.

Lovely little b&b nicely located with a 40 minute walk into Bergerac.
The owner and his lovely, if somewhat uncontrollable(!), puppy met us and showed us to the room. Very nice size, with two rooms and decent facilities.
I mention the dog because I love them and played with him - but if you are unsure he could be a bit too bouncy!
Very nice home cooked breakfast (crepes and oat cakes !) and all in all a good experience. The owner also sorted out fresh fruit, gf rice cakes and very rich yoghurts for my partner which she loved - which went the extra mile and was appreciated

The room was charming with a really comfortable bed and a smart walk-in shower. Breakfast was delicious and the dinners produced by chef Laurent were superb.
A peaceful setting but only 10 minutes from Bergerac and the vineyards.
Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed 24 and 25th September 23, Simply stunning. Agnes is so welcoming. Laurent is a superb chef (and he plays the guitar!) - you must have the evening meals. Lovely, quiet location with swimming pool. 40 minute walk into Bergerac town. 15 minute walk to a nearby winery which is worth a visit. Room was huge with probably the comfiest bed that I've ever slept in. I cannot fault the whole experience, and we will be back. Superb, Agnes and Laurent! Merci beacoup!

Lovely converted farmhouse close to the centre of Bergerac. Little oasis of calm, beautiful pool, lovely hosts and wonderful food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We especially enjoyed the morning pancakes!

I think we came across Ostal by accident looking for somewhere to stay en route Bordeaux to St-Cirq-Lapopie (6 - 8 June) and we are not sorry we did. Anne (mostly) and Christophe (behind the scenes) are perfect hosts. Clearly it is somewhere that vistors come back to as we met an English couple who return every year. We had an "atttic" room which was spacious and comfortable and impeccably clean. The onlly drawback was the roof beams that had a nasty habit of making contact with my 193cm height. Breakfast was very French and filling. Location to the north of Bergerac (only by a couple of kilometres) is also very convenient, making it easy to visit villages and other sites to the north and east.
Highly recommended - we will be return some time - thanks Anne and Christophe (sorry to have taken so long to post this!)

Booked based on previous reviews and we were not disappointed. The rooms were beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming and attentive. There is a good local restaurant La Flambee in easy walking distance. We had been in France for over two weeks by the time we arrived and were a little tired of eating out so we chose to have a BBQ one evening, the hosts lit it for us and even provided wine glasses and crockery! Breakfast was the best we've ever had in France and each day there was something a little different. Definitely worth a visit as it, especially if want a peaceful base from which to explore the area.

I booked this place after throwing a coin over a map of Europe and it landing near Bergerac. This was the first place I found through trip advisor and what a find it was. Absolutely perfect for couples, Anne the host could not have been more attentive, and although she speaks very good English was good enough to be patient with my beginners French. She was full of suggestions for things to do in the local area and places to eat. We borrowed their bikes several times for the short ride into Bergerac which was an easy flat ride through the park just over the road.
The rooms were beautifully clean, breakfast tasty and plentiful and Anne presented us with a bottle of wine on the day of our wedding anniversary.
The swimming pool was brilliant to dip into at the end of the day, especially as temperatures during our stay reached the mid 30's.
I love visiting France but this was the first time to Bergerac and the Dordogne and I would not hesitate to come back here again or recommend it to anybody else. The

We chose This because of the reviews and were not disappointed. This is a fab place to stay! We had been travelling through France so, hot and bothered arrived to a brilliant welcome and dip in the lovely pool. The room was beautifully presented and absolutely spotless with lovely shower gel. There was a kettle for hot drinks which is so unusual in France and Anne and Christophe were so lovely. Breakfast was amazing!! All other reviews were spot on - the bread and croissants were the best we had in France and the home made preserves and cakes - yummy!!! Lovely restaurant five mins walk away! Brilliant stay!!
