Our room was adequate - medium size. Up one flight of stairs wasnt too bad but could be a problem for some people so you could request ground floor. We had a car so free parking was good and it was quite easy to drive into the old town and park. Lots of fast food outlets near the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Good value hotel overall. Tea making in room was good but no fridge.

away from everything, 10 minute taxi to centre Bergerac 20 - 25 euros, very basic clean, comfortable nice bathroom recently decorated. breakfast okay. No bars close by, supermarkets 5 minutes walk.

As a stop over on a long journey this place suited me just fine.The night in question the restaurant wasn't open but as there were only a few guests I could understand why and it was no issue, There is a Buffalo grill across the road or a McDonalds.As usual the room as clean and comfortable and the free wifi was working well. I use Campanile a lot and have never had a bad room.

Booked in for 2 nights but left, without refund, after the first night. Woken early by staff entering our room and workmen clearing all the rooms around us of furniture. The room was OK but we were caught in the middle of a major refit which should have closed the place. If we had known this we would have booked elsewhere. Matters were madr worse but the failure of the chef to turn up for work and the onsight restaurant was not available. Staff were not interested and seemed to think none of this was a problem.

Je m’excuse sincèrement pour la gêne occasionnée, nous faisons notre maximum pour éviter toute perturbation du séjour de nos clients, vous n'auriez pas dû être dérangé dans votre chambre. Used this hotel now for about 4 years but was disappointed this year. Tried two rooms neither had working air con which we needed after a hot day. The staff weren’t that bothered and nobody came to help despite repeated visits to reception no body came to help.
It’s situation is convenient but feel a change coming on for next year.

A double bed against the wall, smelling of cigarette smoke with busy roads on 2 sides, this place got off to a bad start.
The breakfast was even worse. I cannot recall ever being served such bad coffee.
The paths were in a poor state with the first step on the stairs being about 4 inches lower on one side. We were amazed that we did not trip or fall.
Survival training for staying at a hotel would be a first!!
The market in budget hotels is quite extensive so try not to get caught out.. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

This Campanile is the worst one I have every stayed. First they take from your credit card the full amount before you arrive - even so the room could be canceled free of charge. Than the check in does not know and they charge again. It takes weeks to clear that up. No manager ever seen. Breakfast just convenience products and overpriced.

Horrible experience! We arrived at 10.30 pm and the reception was already closed (even if in the booking was written 11.00pm), only authomatic machine not able to keep any credit cards. 2 people were forced to go to the nearest IBIS to sleep due to this lack of service. In the morning no excuses from the personnel of the hotel, the only explanation was 'the machine was not working it s not our fault'.

From this hotel I expected much more, I stayed in Campanile before,
The hotel is far away from the city the room is okay and it is also clean
We hd to wait on arrival to get into the room because the keycard didnt work
and the room was in the corner under the stairs to the higher level which makes it dark
and you can hear everybody go up
Staff is nice but the owner is not Breakfast to expencive for what you get

The staff were excellent. We saw the caretaker helping to change the tyre on an elderly couples car. Great food in the restaurant with the best homemade pickled onions I have ever tasted. The chef even came out to give us the recipe.
