We have just returned from our second stay in the Mercure Perigueux and will definitely be returning. It's perfectly positioned a five minute walk from the cathedral and centre of Perigueux. The secure parking is also useful but fairly expensive a 10.50 Euro per night. It's also a little awkward to access. This time the doors were shut so we...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights including breakfast. The hotel itself is as you would expect modern and convenient. I had a room on the ground floor, luckaly, on the back side of the hotel. There were also rooms on the ground level facing the front of the hotel which is on a busy street. My colleague who...

The rooms are small but provide a comfortable bed and the necessary facilities. It was ideal for us as we were having a night stop on our way from Biarritz to the Channel port. Some nice restaurants within a few minutes walk as the hotel only does breakfast.

Stayed overnight in Perigueux en route to Bordeaux and what a surprise. The Mercure is located very close to the Centre Ville. The Centre Ville is a lot bigger than I expected with plenty of energy and history. From the moment we arrived at the Mercure I was impressed. Check in was very efficient and our room was exactly what...

We stayed here for one night on our way down through France as we had always wanted to see Perigueux. Hotel is around a 5 minute walk from the town centre and looks out over a large square. Parking a little vague as although there s a car ark at the rear of the hotel there are very few (at...

This hotel is situated on the centre square of Perigueux and has parking making it easy to leave the city in any direction. The hotel is spacious and very helpful staff. The city information centre is across the square as is the local supermarket and several cafes and restaurants. It is also very close to the old roman part of...

This is a great property that has an excellent location near all the highlights of Perigueux. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were specious. The beds were very comfortable and we had great sleeps. The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful in assisting us and highlighting the key sights in the area.

Formulaic Mercure hotel but curiously lacked the mini-bar/fridge that you normally get as standard. Room 209 was comfortable and faced the square. I like these hotels where modern bathroom is separate to W.C Staff were friendly and parking is in underground municipal car park opposite. We didn't take the breakfast - why pay €15 when you can walk 100yds and...
