We had no idea what to expect and this wonderful home exceeded our expectations. The rate was fantastic, the rooms were very clean and the owner is incredible. The hospitality was over the top with a delicious breakfast and everything we could ever ask for. The town of Dinan is darling with cobblestone streets and great architecture. My friend and...

We had the pleasure of staying at the birthplace of Auguste Pavie. We really enjoyed the mix of mediaeval walls and beams with a very interesting shower and comfy bed and duvet. Our rooms were extremely comfortable with all the modern amenities. Jerome, the owner, is gracious and was helpful with good suggestions for local restaurants. Breakfast is plentiful and...

We have stayed in two different rooms at the La Maison Pavie and loved them both. The owners have done an incredible job of converting this old building into a charming, romantic and unique is experience. I probably wouldn't recommend this facility for elderly couples as there are stairs to climb. I would highly recommend the town and especially the...

La Maison Pavie Chambres d'hote is an atmospheric 16th century building in the heart of the beautiful walled Breton town of Dinan. It is expertly run by Jerome and his partner and just oozes history. Every room is different but all have polished wooden floors.. It is spotlessly clean and as you navigate the ancient stairs you almost feel you...

What a unique and exquisite blending of old and modern! Jérôme, the owner of La Maison Pavie, couldn't be a more welcoming and helpful host. I had the Angkor room - very spacious with a view of the church at the front of the hotel and the garden at the back. The couple I was traveling with had a similarly...

We very much enjoyed our brief visit to La Maison Pavie. Nice, well-done renovation, clean, good location and very comfortable for sleeping. Jerome, owner and host, was gracious, informative and helpful. Couldn't think of staying anywhere else if we ever return to this quaint town in Brittany.

We spent 3 nights in this charming B&B. It is a wonderful 15th Century property located in the heart of the old walled town. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. A word of caution I would not recommend the top floor accommodation of this property to anyone who is infirm as the stairs are very steep and narrow. Our...

A Philadelphian, a fellow-guest at La Maison Pavie, complained about creaking timber floors. That and steep staircases are part of the luxury of living in a fifteenth-century house. So is the pleasure of looking through the window and seeing at close quarters the Basilica of Saint-Saveur, … and of walking through the doorway of a half-timbered house. Having said that,...

My husband and I had just completed and whirlwind trip in northern England when we arrived in Dinan. Though some of our trips involve taking time to relax and unwind, this particular visit was more hectic since we both wanted to see many things during our three week vacation. Arriving at La Maison Pavie felt like a true respite from...

This is a fantastic place to stay in Dinan and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. It couldn't be any more centrally located, in a very attractive square opposite a lovely church. Free access to the car park just around the corner is included in the room price - it's large with plenty of spaces. The rooms are...
