As my wife, Sue, and I were looking over our photos from 2013 I realized that I had failed to write a review of Symphonie de Sens, even though it is one of our two favorite B&Bs in the whole world. The other reviews have noted how charming a place this is, in one of the oldest buildings in town...

What a total surprise. It was hard to find and the entrance was nondescript. The owner's father saw us driving around and actually came out to guide us. What a feast for the senses. The hotel is in a 1480's building and was so tastefully done that it kept its character with all the modern conveniences. The owner Fabrice was...

What a fabulous little hotel. Everything about the place is top notch. Reputedly the oldest building in Rennes it has character in abundance! Wonderfully comfortable and they really have tried to think of everything to make a stay memorable. Mine hosts were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful haven - peaceful and tranquil. Not the cheapest perhaps but well worth...

The second oldest house in town, warm and generous owners, very well located and the charm of a historical house! Besides the rooms there is a very nice common area with a living room and terrace. The market is 5 min by walk and it's the region's second biggest...

We stayed in this glorious hotel in the heart of Rennes's old medieval quarter surrounded by a plethora of great restaurants for two nights. Our hosts René & Françoise could not have done more to make us more welcome or our stay more memorable. Our room was charming overlooking a lovely seated sun terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast on...

My husband and I stayed at this property for two nights, both in June 2015 and June 2014. When we return to Rennes next year as we probably will due to work committments, we will again revisit this charming property. Fabrice is a wonderful host who provides an intimate, cosy and elegant environment right in the centre of the historic...

What a find. This incredible building is located in the perfect area of old town Rennes. Walking distance to all sites and restaurants. Our host, Fabrice, was a perfect gentleman and very accommodating. Rooms were very spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was private and delicious. Thank you, Fabrice, for your kind hospitality!

Reside in a building going back to 1480, with ancient stairs and well-furnished rooms, a cozy lounge (wines and spirits available on a honor basis!) and a terrace that will definitely be wonderful if the weather cooperates. The continental breakfast for a reasonable amount of Eu9.50 includes juice, coffee or tea, bread, croissant, pastry, yoghurt, butter and jam and a...

What a charming and we'll run B&B. We drove here and circled the area and parked some distance away before returning on foot. We were met by the charming Favrice who seemed to run the Hotel single handed. The building is 600 years old and very well adapted for a comfy stay. The bed was comfy and we slept well....

Rennes historic area where this B&B is located is a bit scary to drive in...but that makes the walking so wonderful through this very old district. A wonderful city. This B&B is wonderful. Very old world and beautifully restored. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - I highly recommend this B&B
