A lovely little haven in the midst of a commercial zone, we were somewhat disappointed in how far we were from the old city. However, the accommodations were were comfortable and clean. The portion of the building that houses the rooms was reminiscent of a good quality hotel/motel in the States. And the buffet breakfast was a bit pricey at...

Booked this hotel as a final night stay before catching the ferry back to Portsmouth. We try to use Logis whilst in France as they are almost always excellent value and good quality food - this one is Excellent. A good position for visiting Dinard and St Malo and only about 10 min away from the Ferry port. The room...

Having stayed a couple of times in an Ibis hotel before catching the day ferry back to Portsmouth and having noticed this hotel on our way in and out of St. Malo on these occasions, we decided to try it on a visit this April. Although surrounded by a commercial zone, this is a delightful hotel and surprisingly quiet at...

Arriving by car from Paris the last thing we wanted was a lengthy search for the booked hotel. Logis La Grassinais is located outside of Saint Malo in a commercial area at the end of an expressway. The walled compound and most rooms facing a quiet courtyard create a country inn atmosphere. Parking is free and available if one arrives...

As an earlier reviewer said, beware of the location - it may catch you unawares. We chose this hotel in a moment of panic when on a bank holiday weekend both in the UK and in France, all our usual choices were fully booked. A quick look on Google Maps showed that the rather bizzare location was in the middle...

Excellent hotel. Stayed for two nights early November 2007. I was aware that the hotel was situated within a commercial area having read reviews on this site but as we were there at a weekend it proved no problem at all. Breakfast was fine, parking is fine but somewhat limited but should the hotel car park be full there is...

This review is based on a stay of 10 hours from 10.15 pm to 8 15 am! We arrived at La Grassinais after escaping from a late-evening ferry from Jersey, and a car-park whose paypoint was out of order (they let us go for free!). Follow the Rennes signs, after a mile or two pass MacDonalds on right, take last...

A very beautiful small hotel which i used on my return journey from Morocco when motorcycling with my friend. Situated near to the main motorway leading into St Malo this lovely small hotel provided us with a more than comfortable place to stay for the night. The rooms were more than adequate and spotlessly clean with modern bedding and fittings....

My wife and 2 children stayed here overnight prior to boarding the ferry back to Portsmouth. We stayed in a family room, which was clean and adequate, but overlooked the main road into St Malo, which is the equivalant of the M6. The breakfast was a typical French one and was lovely. St Malo itself, we were gobsmacked by, enjoying...

“Whilst this is not a luxurious hotel, all the rooms are well insulated from traffic noise (and the hotel is close by busy roads). But, it is exceptionally clean, and quite comfortable. Windows are fitted with safety catches, and TV etc. is supplied. The bathrooms are small, but well enough appointed. They welcome dogs and obviously young children as there are cots available. It is exceptionally convenient for the ferry port. There is ample parking.”
