We actually stayed twice, our first room was a little dated, the second room had been done up beautifully. Customer Service was excellent and breakfasts were delicious. Location very close to the centre of town.

Stayed at Hostellerie de Bretonniere for two nights as part of a bike tour. Very pleased with the ground floor accommodation facing the garden. No stairs to climb. Extremely quiet. Breakfast was served with freshly-squeezed orange juice, large croissants and buffet with meat and cheese, fruits and cereals. Room was well-appointed, but the bedspread was dirty. The staff, especially Natalie, are extremely friendly and go out their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very nice and clean. The shower is very large and luxurious. It is a short five minute walk to old town. The lobby is beautiful and has a gorgeous lounge for drinks and coffee.

This hotel is superb. Clean, simple, comfortable rooms. The highlight is the amazing dinner and breakfast meals. The husband and wife team work really hard and are charming and kind. I highly recommend and will always remember the delicious meal at this hostellerie. Chocolate balls filled with raspberries and melted with warm chocolate sauce at your table stays in my memory.... This place is a tribute to the city it belongs to. Charming staff, superb location, simple yet comfortable accommodation. The parking lot comes in very handy in a city where you need to forget about your car and walk. The rooms are simple, yet charming and comfortable. Bathroom was new and large. Breakfast is very nice and abundant. And the... More

This was our 5th visit and definitely our last!! We booked this hotel for its location, friendly staff and above all it has air conditioning. We arrived on Saturday 21 May having driven 500 miles. We were shown to our room where I noticed that the A/C was not working. I spoke to the Hotel Director who told me that... More

We just stayed at the hotel one night. The park like environment and cosy rooms just make you feel good. On top of this the free parking and easy access to all the restaurants in the centre as well as places to taste a good bourgundy wine is just perfect. They do not have a restaurant in the hotel which... More
